Dragon Age: Origins is an excellent RPG with a great story, an awesome combat experience and definite replayability points. I plan on making multiple rounds with this game – testing out my options and the different origins stories to get a taste of the extent of what this game has to offer. However, if you’re planning on picking this game up, do yourself a favor and get the PC version.

While it's not quite up there with the best in the Lego series, The Adventure Continues is still a fun romp, especially if you plan to play with some younger family members.

Order of War è un titolo che riesce degnamente a ritagliarsi uno spazio ben specifico nel panorama degli RTS ovvero quello di strategico su larga scala ambientato nella seconda guerra mondiale. Un ottimo gameplay viene però appiattito da una scarsa varietà dell'azione e degli elementi di gioco, nonchè da qualche sbavatura nella parte tecnica. In definitiva consigliamo questo titolo a chiunque cerchi uno strategico specificamente ambientato in quei difficili anni che ripercorrono la fine del secondo conflitto o che abbia voglia di cimentarsi in un prodotto strategicamente molto allettante, senza badare troppo alla varietà che offre. Un buon titolo, che a causa di quanto detto, non riesce ad emergere dalla massa ma che comunque garantisce diverse ore di sano divertimento bellico.

Whilst it’s clear the game engine has received a lot of attention, elevating it way beyond the majority of DS and even PSP in terms of graphical quality, the game flow is mostly every bit as smooth. There’s plenty of variety in missions, both optional and compulsory, and enough touches along the way to distract you, extending the game even further.

God of War Collection è un ottimo investimento per ogni possessore di Playstation 3. Soprattutto in un periodo come questo, che appare come una grande pausa prima della scorpacciata primaverile. Ad un prezzo opportuno è possibile portarsi a casa due titoli con una notevole importanza storica, entrambi (chi più ,chi meno) ancora piacevoli da giocare e capaci, per certi versi, di meravigliare chi non li ha conosciuti al tempo della loro uscita. Ma al di là di questo, ci troviamo comunque a valutare una raccolta, che “ripesca” prodotti abbastanza recenti, eppure abbastanza invecchiati -nonostante il “make up” nextgen- a causa del ritmo del progresso tecnico. La valutazione che assegniamo, sia chiaro, non è attribuita ai singoli prodotti: God of War I e II sono titoli che sono stati analizzati, da Eye come da altre testate, al momento della loro uscita, per quello che hanno significato al tempo. Dichiarare che ancora oggi sono rimasti immutati tutti i loro caratteri (fra cui la freschezza ludica e la meraviglia coreografica) ci pare una grande inesattezza. Al di là di quelle che sono le opinioni critiche “aggiornate”, il voto che vedete serve solo a premiare l'operazione mediatica, condotta non senza sforzi e indirizzata verso i giusti prodotti. Tale voto è indipendente dalla qualità, passata e odierna, delle due avventure: qualità per altro ampiamente dibattuta nei paragrafi della recensione, e che trova nella misura “dialogica” del testo una dimensione più opportuna, rispetto a quella tutta matematica di un voto numerico.

While the title feels a bit disconnected from the franchise, the in-game store packs tons of meaningless items and multiplayer isn’t particularly engaging, LocoRoco is still a good game to play, assuming that you’re willing to put up with its frustrating difficulty curve. If you’re looking to put your blob bouncing skills to the test, Midnight Carnival will provide you with more than enough challenge to keep you busy for a while.

The Tony Hawk franchise was in dire need of a reboot, and hopping on the peripheral craze generated by Guitar Hero and Wii Fit wasn't a bad idea. The board itself is solid, which leaves only the execution to blame. Tony Hawk Ride never came together. It straddles an uncomfortable line between casual and hardcore without being satisfying in either respect and it lacks the polish and presentation necessary to cover up the gameplay shortcomings. Kids might have fun hopping around on the board and watching the game play itself on casual mode and the soundtrack is indeed a great one. If you're looking for a realistic skating experience, you'd be better off buying a skateboard and heading outside. This one just doesn't cut it. File this one under "gimmick."
