Nintendo announces the arrival of the Commodore 64 on the Virtual Console -- and then drops support for the system after four games. Nintendo then announces the debut of the Virtual Console Arcade -- and, again, drops support for that after four games. I'm sure we'll eventually see more releases for both of those VC categories eventually, but the timing of Nintendo's Console releases has been broken for far too long. You can't hype up new systems and make surprise launches and then not follow-up. It's ridiculous. It wouldn't be so bad if the games we were getting in the meanwhile were worthwhile, but, really, more repetitive Wonder Boy? A game that's already been released before, in a better version, and that's the only new game this week? And its price has even been inflated? Nintendo, seriously. You've really lost the faith of nearly everyone who originally supported the Virtual Console at this point. You've got to get it together and start giving the people what they want -- and what they want is not more Wonder Boy.

Cooking Mama 2 est un peu décevant avec ses problèmes de maniabilité à la Wiimote, l'absence d'instructions claires et un mode multijoueurs peu intéressant. Heureusement que l'habillage est soigné et que l'ambiance bon enfant relèvent le niveau, malgré des doublages pas terribles. Cela ne suffit pas à en faire un bon jeu : pour une fois, le premier épisode était plus réussi.

ATARI ha fatto senz’altro centro: Starbreeze e Tigon studios hanno fatto davvero un ottimo lavoro sotto molti punti di vista. Tanto per iniziare è davvero apprezzabile l’idea di mettere a disposizione dell’acquirente praticamente due giochi invece di un solo, soprattutto se entrambi gli episodi sono accompagnati da una trama avvincente e da una sceneggiatura memorabile. Davvero vario e ricco è poi il gameplay: in questa saga sono implementati sapientemente tutti i caratteri tipici di vari generi, per creare una commistione davvero convincente. E' soprattutto l'integrazione di meccaniche Stealth che ravviva l'avventura, impegnando le capacità tattiche e strategiche dell'utente. Ma non mancano innesti meno classici, per una varietà che è davvero il punto di forza del prodotto. Tecnicamente il gioco soddisfa appieno tutte le aspettative, intrecciando una buona realizzazione con un ottimo level design. The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena è un gioco vivamente consigliato a tutti gli utenti, specialmente ai più esperti e navigati. L’alto livello di sfida richiederà un forte impegno, l’ottima realizzazione tecnica ed il gameplay avvincente vi terranno incollati allo schermo per ore e ore.

Enchanted Folk and the School of Wizardry est clairement un jeu idéal pour les moins de dix ans : largement assez adorable pour être apprécié des parents, ludique, avec des défis additifs juste ce qu'il faut. Toutefois, les plus grands enfants y préfèreront très probablement des jeux plus aboutis sur le plan scénaristique, avec moins de contraintes liées au temps notamment.

The Samurai Showdown games aren't a set of games that I have ever heard of. I checked out the facts online and found out they have been going for 15 years. The Samurai Showdown Anthology brings each one together into one tidy package and here I am, discovering a set of games 15 years in the past on a new age console, the Playstation Portable.

Dragon Ball : Evolution s'adresse finalement exclusivement à ceux qui ont apprécié le film. Proposant un système de combat qui manque d'originalité et qui ne parvient pas à retranscrire le dynamisme de la série, les possesseurs de PSP lui préféreront certainement les deux précédents Shin Budokai.

Bien réalisé et beaucoup plus jouable que Phantasy Star Universe, Phantasy Star Portable est un beat'em all futuriste d'une étonnante profondeur qui scotchera sans l'ombre d'un doute les nombreux nostalgiques de la série sur l'écran de leur PSP. Malheureusement, et c'est un comble pour l'héritier du tout premier jeu console en ligne, il ne supporte que le réseau wi-fi local !
