Enchanted Folk and the School of Wizardry est clairement un jeu idéal pour les moins de dix ans : largement assez adorable pour être apprécié des parents, ludique, avec des défis additifs juste ce qu'il faut. Toutefois, les plus grands enfants y préfèreront très probablement des jeux plus aboutis sur le plan scénaristique, avec moins de contraintes liées au temps notamment.

Qu'on se le dise, à l'instar de Sega Rally, OutRun Online Arcade ne prétend aucunement renouveler la série ou concurrencer les meilleurs jeux de courses du marché. Il s'agit simplement ici de revisiter un concept et une série mythique, via un lifting haute définition et l'ajout d'un mode Online. Il se destine en priorité aux nostalgiques qui se sont séparés de leur premier OutRun puis aux plus jeunes joueurs pour qui ce nom ne signifiait pas grand-chose. Avouez que l'on vous propose rarement d'effectuer un retour dans le passé via des technologies de pointe pour la modique somme de 10€...

OutRun Online Arcade is unbelievably fun once you settle in to the drift-focussed arcade racing, but it's not the perfect version of the game we hoped it would be.

So, to me, Bomberman '94's arrival on the Virtual Console might just be a case of a missed window of opportunity. It's still a great game, it's just unfortunate that it took this long to arrive -- it could have had a much bigger impact if it released a year or two earlier. As it is, the people who want to play Bomberman on their Wii have probably already settled for the '93 edition, or invested in Blast on WiiWare. In fact, I'd still recommend Blast even though this one's now available -- '94 here has a superior single player mode, but if you're playing Bomberman for its single player then you've got no business playing Bomberman to begin with. It took too long for you to get this one out the door, Hudson -- 28 months was way too long a wait. Grab a Speed Up for your VC publishing schedule next time around, and you may have better sales to show for it.
