NBA 2K7 is still the best basketball game out there, and it's improved thanks to the SIXAXIS controller, turning an already impressive title into a great one. By forcing you to use the controller instead of the analog stick for free throws, NBA 2K7 manages to make the SIXAXIS both a gimmick and a contribution to the gameplay. It's a gimmick that's contained to only a few situations during play, but it's a contribution because it's easy to learn, yet challenging to pull off. It also helps give you a better sense of the shot stick timing, which will definitely make you a better player in the long run.

As far as launch titles go, Madden 07 for Wii is a very solid first effort. The game includes all the options as the other console versions including lead blocking, create-a-player/team/fan, hall of fame, tons of training sessions including two minute drill and NFL network, and a full-blown franchise mode just to name a few, and throws in an intuitive learn madden tutorial, multiplayer competitions including the amazingly addictive 2-on-2 and Y.A.C. Attack, as well as tons of motion control specifically built for the Wii-mote and nunchuk. There are still a few issues with kicking and big hits that could be a bit more polished, and the general stigma around Wii is that some people will love it or hate it simply because it offers new gameplay over improved graphics, but the game is simply awesome despite the countless naysayers out there. Madden 07 offers a faster and more brutal game of football, and the added motion control makes pulling off complex football maneuvers easier than it’s ever been. The game is constantly offering pointers to newcomers as well, whether it’s in the on-the-fly tutorials accessible at any time during a game, or in the success/failure prompts that tell you instantly if your motion was too early, too late, or dead on. Madden 07 leaves definite room for improvement, but it’s a tremendous leap in the right direction. If Madden 07 is any indication expect EA and Nintendo to become very, very good friends this generation.

In definitiva Pro Evolution Soccer 6 dimostra ancora una volta di essere un prodotto curato e di buon livello ma inferiore rispetto all'episodio precedente per ciò che concerne la parte giocata. Se per tutto ciò che riguarda modalità di gioco, opzioni e editing il calcio Konami è il migliore di quelli sin qui usciti dagli studi della software house Giapponese, nella prova sul campo invece perde rispetto al passato deludendo le attese. Dopo aver, quindi, ampiamente soddisfatto lo scorso anno i puristi della simulazione, vedere questo nuovo episodio virare verso una impostazione più arcade dimostra forse una piccola mancanza di coraggio da parte del team di sviluppo. In attesa quindi che la serie faccia il suo salto su Playstation 3, sperando che decida di continuare da dove si era fermata con il quinto episodio, Pro Evolution Soccer 6 rimane comunque un buon prodotto, un titolo solido dalla longevità pressoché infinita e con una modalità online ben gestita e realizzata.

Avec cet épisode, Tony Tough perd le capital sympathie que l'on pouvait éprouver face au personnage. Mal finalisé, le jeu accuse de graves défauts (scénario incompréhensible, graphismes datés, voix du héros insupportable) qui pèsent lourd dans la balance. Du coup, c'est avec regret que l'on déconseillera Tony Tough 2 aux mordus d'aventure.

Arthur et les Minimoys est à classer parmi les adaptations réussies de licences cinématographiques, le soft étant visiblement à la hauteur du film d'animation dont il est inspiré. Baignant dans une atmosphère visuelle féerique, le jeu varie assez bien les routines de progression, malgré certaines énigmes surexploitées qui freinent le rythme de l'aventure. Les concepteurs auraient également peut-être pu penser à une façon de permettre le jeu à plusieurs, mais le résultat reste quand même assez divertissant.

Que ce soit bien clair, Scooby Doo! : Qui Regarde Qui ? ne s'adresse absolument pas aux joueurs confirmés. En effet, le titre s'avère beaucoup trop limité au niveau du gameplay pour avoir réellement un intérêt pour ce type de personnes. Néanmoins, le jeune public pourra peut-être y trouver son compte, quoiqu'on aurait aimé des épreuves un peu plus diversifiées car la lassitude guette.

C'est avant tout le sentiment de gâchis qui prédomine après avoir passé en revue tout ce qui peut l'être de ce Crusty Demons, une adaptation manquée des acrobaties de quelques barbares à la recherche de sensations fortes. Jouabilité imprécise, intérêt limité ambiance sonore sans originalité ont coulé ce titre, pourtant parti sur des bases intéressantes.
