OneShot is an incredibly unique experience, and one of my favorite adventure games. While there is a tiny bit of magic lost in the transition to console, the additions more than make up for it, especially for fans double dipping with the World Machine Edition. Whether it’s your first, second, or third time adventuring with Niko, this is an incredibly memorable journey that you will never forget.

A solid hero shooter at its core, the gameplay is fundamentally solid and offers a decent variety in suits to choose from. Progression for suits is, however, glacially slow and map/mode variety leaves much to be desired. (Review Policy)

Despite its shortcomings, The DioField Chronicle is still a solid tactical RPG experience with enough JRPG tropes to interest fans of both genres. The unique gameplay provides plenty of challenge, though it can require a lot of grinding to keep pace with the difficulty curve. The art style is beautiful both in and out of combat but the characters and plot fail to live up to the same standard. In this case, its ambition outstretched its means and it fell just short of where it wanted to be.

The Outbound Ghost looks and sounds wonderful, but that’s about all there is to enjoy here. Exploration and combat are both incredibly tedious, and the story meanders for about six hours until it ends with nothing resolved. I want to like this game, but it feels like it lacks any sort of central vision.

Soulstice è prima di tutto un gioco d'azione tecnico alla Devil May Cry e, pur non raggiungendo i picchi del genere, si difende molto bene e sa divertire. La varietà di armi e situazioni è discreta, ma purtroppo l'ambientazione si ripete troppo spesso, annoiando l'occhio del giocatore. La trama è curata anche se non originale o appassionante, ma fa il proprio dovere. Se siete in cerca di un prodotto che vi faccia divertire controller alla mano, l'avete trovato. È un primo passo, badate bene, e gli spazi per migliorare in vista di un seguito ci sono, ma forse proprio per questo varrebbe la pena sostenere un team italiano che ha qualcosa di proprio da dire.

Soulstice est donc un Beat'em All classique et somme toute efficace si, et seulement si, vous tolérez non seulement les défauts qui constituait ce genre de jeu par le passé, et si vous n'êtes pas trop regardant sur les différents défauts techniques qui saupoudrent votre expérience. Si notre aventure fut globalement convaincante, on garde à l'esprit que Soulstice aurait mérité un peu plus de temps (et probablement d'argent) pour un développement plus peaufiné.

Soulstice supone un hack & slash de manual que acusa una falta de riesgo y de apego por ciertos patrones de diseño que le hacen más bien que mal. Su sistema de combate, interesante de base, queda desplazado por una trama y un sistema de progresión que cuentan con más protagonismo del que deberían. Sin embargo, si echas en falta más tortas en tu día a día videolúdico, su propuesta te entregará la dopamina demandada mediante sus mejores enfrentamientos.

Un juego sólido y con buenas intenciones, pero que se queda bastante por debajo de los grandes del género. Como aperitivo está bien, pero los amantes de los hack and slash probablemente prefieran esperar a Bayonetta 3... o volver a Devil May Cry 5.

Arkane signe ici un jeu aussi ambitieux que novateur dans sa façon d'apporter une dimension rogue lite à un FPS pêchu. Cela étant et malgré les trésors d'ingéniosité déployés, un level design exceptionnel et un gameplay aux petits oignons, on a tendance à être lassé par cette boucle qui n'en finit plus. L'histoire et son intrigue fonctionnent plutôt bien et l'ambiance 60's vient sublimer ce scénario digne d'une bonne série de sciences fiction. On regrettera une narration peut-être un peu trop rigide et qui ne laisse finalement que peu de place à l'investigation et au questionnement. Malgré tout, nous vous recommandons fortement ce jeu qui est en soit une expérience absolument unique et des plus surprenantes.
