Victoria 3 è un gioco estremamente complesso, forse il più complesso mai affrontato nella mia carriera da videogiocatore in campo di strategici. Il livello di simulazione degli equilibri sociali ed economici è senza precedenti, e il tutto è accompagnato da un livello di sfida estremamente elevato, reso più tollerabile dal fatto che lo scopo del gioco non è sempre quello di conquistare il mondo ma si può benissimo cercare di vederlo come una sorta di sandbox in cui sperimentare liberamente la propria creatività politica. Se siete volete mettere a (dura) prova le vostre capacità di leader di una nazione, avrete sicuramente pane per i vostri denti.

New Tales of the Borderlands est un nouvel épisode… moyen. Bien en dessous de son prédécesseur du même genre, il nous fait passer un agréable moment, mais son scénario brouillon et ses mini-jeux répétitifs et rapides plombent un peu l’ensemble. Il comporte un bon début, une bonne fin, mais ce qui gravite au milieu est très inégal et manque de finition au niveau du gameplay. Gearbox a tenté de faire du TellTales pur et simple, et on voit bien que ce n’est pas leur spécialité. Les personnages sont sympathiques, mais loin du charisme de Fiona ou Rhyse. Plus qu’à essayer de spéculer et théoriser sur quelle histoire portera Borderlands 4.

We can scarcely recall an occasion where we were more disappointed by a sequel than New Tales from the Borderlands. We wanted to love this. We'd have accepted liking it. But we hate this game. This is a ten-hour narrative adventure that feels four times as long as it needs to be, with dreadful characters, and appalling, relentlessly unfunny jokes. It's a spectacular misfire, its only success to speak of being the rare example of a sequel so bad that it ruins the original, too.

Last Days of Lazarus is a fun indie (almost) horror game with a lot to puzzle over. The game is well designed, taking much inspiration from the developer’s Romanian roots. The voice acting does leave much to be desired but the gameplay and exploration were a good offset.

Laissez-vous envouter par l'univers si particulier et tellement riche de Persona 5 Royal, et même de tous les Persona à venir dans le futur (voir même ceux du passé si vous êtes nostalgiques et anglophones). SEGA & Atlus vous offrent une chance car vous avez été tellement nombreux sur les réseaux sociaux à réclamer corps et âme durant de nombreuses années l'arrivée de la franchise du votre plateforme de cœur. Par pitié, répondez-leur avec amour et offrez un succès digne du niveau de qualité des titres, et ici en l'occurrence du 5ème opus tellement Royal pour que tout cela continue. Nous sentons bien que tout ceci est un test, un referendum pour savoir si les joueurs Xbox, Switch ou PC sont ouverts à ce genre de propositions, il n'est jamais trop tard pour dire oui surtout quand on mérite la note parfaite !

Although I really wanted to see Airoheart join the upper echelon of indie ‘Zelda Clone’ experiences, its numerous issues see it fail to reach anywhere near as high. Its overworld is fun to traverse, and its several dungeons can be entertaining if you don’t fall victim to their lack of in-dungeon maps, but the story is generic and predictable and its combat and movement is mediocre at best.

New Tales from the Borderlands successfully recaptures a lot of Telltale’s original magic with a fresh, funny, and affable new set of main characters, but unfortunately it also introduces new problems – both in the story and in some half-hearted game mechanics – that gum up the works. You don’t need to have played the first Tales in order to enjoy this one, but if you’re going to choose one or the other, stick with the original and circle back to this pseudo-sequel with tempered expectations if the first one grabs you as much as it grabbed me.

New Tales from the Borderlands es exactamente lo que imaginas: una aventura basada en la fórmula de Telltale que, en esta ocasión, contiene los cinco episodios de principio a fin. Contiene toda la irreverencia, estilo de humor y violencia injustificada de la serie matriz, pero creo que la construcción de la trama y los personajes no logra enganchar como otros juegos que han utilizado su fórmula. Sus personajes tienen objetivos simplones y conflictos poco definidos y las decisiones se han construido de forma tan sutil que pasan desapercibidas. Eso sí: es posiblemente la aventura tipo Telltale más lograda en lo técnico, además de una captura de movimientos y expresiones faciales sorprendente.
