Nonostante i tanti anni intercorsi dalla sua pubblicazione originaria, Live A Live è un JRPG straordinariamente moderno, che si sposa perfettamente con le modalità di fruizione dei contenuti di cui solo Nintendo Switch è capace e con la voglia di molti di non impegnarsi in titoli necessariamente lunghi decine e decine di ore. La cura nel confezionamento del remake, a partire dall'ottima localizzazione italiana, la bontà delle storie raccontate, lo splendido comparto artistico e l'unicità del titolo nell'odierno panorama dei giochi di ruolo giapponesi sono solo alcuni dei motivi per cui dovreste concedere una possibilità all'ultima fatica Square Enix. Non lasciate che l'imminente uscita di Xenoblade Chronicles 3 oscuri questa piccola perla: se cercate un titolo originale, curato fin nei minimi dettagli e con parecchi segreti da scoprire al suo interno, avete trovato pane per i vostri denti. Se la qualità è questa, speriamo di vedere parecchi altri remake provenienti dall'infinito catalogo di giochi di ruolo dello sviluppatore giapponese.

There are multiple moments where Hell Pie shines. Exploring the game’s vast landscapes can be enjoyable, with environments that flaunt verticality and plenty of hidden alcoves. Even the game’s levels within levels are pleasurable, recalling the gratification of 3D platforming of old. But other components aren’t realized, with combat feeling rather lackluster while the game’s humor only occasionally hits the mark. The result is palatable but you’ll wish some of Hell Pie’s ingredients were left in the oven a bit longer.

Bright Memory: Infinite is a short but fun big dumb action game. It doesn’t have much if anything in the way of replayability, but it feels pretty good, looks great, and as long as the price isn’t too bad it’s worth checking out. Not only for the solid, overpowered feeling action, but it’s one hell of a weird-assed ride that I was glad to experience.

Bright Memory: Infinite Bright Memory: Infinite arriva su console al termine di un lungo percorso di sviluppo. Un tragitto in cui si palesa tutto il talento dello giovane sviluppatore, segnale evidente delle potenzialità del palcoscenico videoludico cinese. Un gameplay esaltante ed una lodevole appariscenza visiva si accompagnano tuttavia a diverse inevitabili carenze dovute ai modesti mezzi produttivi, tra cui una longevità estremamente ridotta ed un game design incerto. Son problematiche che si avvertono soprattutto a causa degli anni trascorsi e che non possono non pesare sulla valutazione di questa nuova release, pur non riuscendo ad oscurare quanto di buono proposto. While it still has many issues, Rune Factory 5 on PC is leagues better than its console counterpart. There are a decent amount of graphics options and full keyboard and mouse support so you can farm, fight, and fall for characters at a far more stable frame rate.
