Stray c'est un véritable coup de cœur qui ne finit pas de nous attendrir. Court mais intense, le jeu nous prend par les sentiments en nous faisant incarner un chaton aussi mignon que curieux, dans une ville désolée et malgré tout attachante. Visuellement, c'est un sacré coup de griffe en plein visage, et cela ne nous étonne pas vraiment de la part d'Annapurna. Chat-perlipopette que ce jeu est bon !

As Dusk Falls is exciting, beautiful, and heavy-handed. Its more streamlined approach to narrative gameplay and its less traditional art style create an immersive experience that engages with the player’s imagination. That it can work both as a morally challenging single-player story and a party game for multiple players speaks to the confidence that its developers have. But its second half of the story undercuts some of the tension that its excellent first half builds, and a terrible cliffhanger might leave you feeling betrayed.

On quitte As Dusk Falls avec un goût amer. Au-delà de la présentation visuelle qui peut diviser, le récit croisé de ces familles dont le destin est entré en collision dans un motel de l’Arizona ne livre jamais ses promesses. Le jeu se focalise sur un braquage qui tourne mal, qui crie le déjà vu, et qui se repose sur des clichés fatigués de l’Amérique profonde. L’aspect qui aurait pu être intéressant, le traumatisme à long terme des survivants promis dès l’introduction du jeu, n’est jamais exploré de façon intéressante et est relégué à un épilogue convenu. On n’oublie pas d’excellentes idées de gameplay, et l’effort évident de réflexion sur l’aspect multijoueur convivial, mais le cœur du jeu, son histoire, déçoit.

Bright Memory: Infinite offre un gameplay che mischia con successo le sparatorie ad armi spianate e i combattimenti corpo a corpo, senza sacrificare nulla sul versante tecnico e sulla fluidità degli scontri. La campagna principale è forse troppo corta ma il costo ridotto del gioco e il fatto che sia stata confezionata da una sola persona, ne fanno un'esperienza da non sottovalutare. La speranza per il futuro è che Zeng Xiancheng riesca a formare un team ben nutrito e talentuoso, che possa supportarlo per realizzare un videogioco ancor più ambizioso, completo e appagante. Le basi da cui cominciare ci sono tutte e questo non fa che altro che caricarci di aspettative per il futuro del creativo.

Les principales forces de Stray résident dans son adorable protagoniste et ses décors qui sont un bonheur à explorer. Ajoutons à cela un récit joliment mené et une ambiance mystique drapée de belles mélodies synthétisées. Reste les énigmes souvent trop sommaires et la frustration de ne pas pouvoir sauter où bon nous semble qui empêchent le jeu d'atteindre son plein potentiel. Stray n'en demeure pas moins une très jolie expérience, parfaite pour les plus jeunes et tout à fait attendrissante pour les grands.

Alors que le premier Redout était accessible au grand public, ce nouvel opus est avant tout destiné aux amateurs de défis et aux acharnés. D’aucuns pourraient le décrire comme élitiste. Assurément la difficulté est mal dosée et certains tracés de circuits sont frustrants. Néanmoins, une fois les contrôles bien assimilés, Redout 2 offre tout de même de belles sensations. Le titre est esthétiquement réussi mais la Switch peine à le faire tourner correctement.

A successful tribute to F-Zero and WipEout where going fast never stops being fun. Its surprisingly meaty career mode more than justifies the price tag but it may struggle to win over more casual racing enthusiasts.

The events in Endling create sad emotions but they do not connect with how mankind is destroying the Earth. Events happen and we’re supposed to feel something because they happened, but the emotions are diminished because there is no connection to the message or the characters. It held up in the short five hours of play thanks to intriguing survival mechanics, but even those were messed up by an unfortunate, frustrating tug of war between survival and story progression.

That's really what Redout 2 lacks at the end of the day. It's not a game that sticks with you, even if the racing is solid and filled with colorful graphics. Track descriptions and loading screens describe a future world that an algorithm could generate, and all the narrative hooks lead to environments that could boil down to the generic elemental surroundings of any given Mario Kart. During each session, whenever there was a straightaway, my mind wandered intermittently. The only aspect of gameplay keeping my attention was trying to keep my car upright and ahead of the competition, and the races demanded a mechanical mastery that ensured I wasn't very good at either. Considering the lack of attention that Redout 2 pays to its surroundings, I'm not sure it's worth the investment to get better.
