Exit 2 doesn't feel like a sequel as much as more levels with a few added twists. All of the issues from the original are back: The controls are awkward. The pacing is horrid. The AI needs work. But hey, at least a good number of the puzzles are interesting and there are a lot of them. If you can get past the problems, you'll find a game that will certainly offer its money's worth. For many, me included, it's simply going to put you to sleep.

Noby Noby Boy is certainly an ambitious title, if ambitious is indeed the correct word. It just doesn't work for me. You'll occasionally see something weird and funny, and the rope-esque physics are very well implemented, but that's just not enough. I will say that the concept of GIRL is cool and if the community helps her grow to reach new planets, then that's great. But really, though, Noby Noby Boy feels like a tech demo with a couple cool concepts to me, and nothing more.

50 Cent: Blood on the Sand is certain to settle the debate over whether or not games are art. But the debate over whether or not you should play this game is going to rage on through the rest of the year. Blood on the Sand isn't broken, but it is at times unimaginative. If Gears of War 2's mantra was "Bigger, badder, more bad ass," then BOTS's should have been "Fiddy, Fiddier, more fiddier." Instead it's just one five-hour "Fiddy." There's no mistaking that this is a fun game to play -- particularly with a buddy -- but it's in no way excellent. Though I'd love nothing more than for people to put some coin in Fiddy's piggy bank, I'd recommend renting rather than buying.

Zuma is still one of the best PopCap games out there, and while it's taken a while for the game to come to the PS3, it's still an enjoyable title. The Remote Play option would be great for a fan who wants to work on their leveling on the go, but if you're just a casual fan, you'll have to weigh whether it's worth it to pay ten dollars for a game that is widely available. Just be warned that once you start, you probably won't stop.

If you're a huge fan of the game show, then Deal or No Deal will offer a few rounds of amusement. But the fact is that the source material just isn't all that great for a video game, and even with the variety of options, the experience is pretty much the same thing every time. The multiplayer is a joke and completely unnecessary. There's only so many times you can hear Howie Mandel say "Open the case" before you'll never want to hear it again.

Wolf of the Battlefield: MERCS, if taken strictly as a Genesis conversion of the Capcom arcade classic, would be found lacking -- it's not as visually spectacular as that original edition, and it also completely cuts out that version's multiplayer co-op capability. But, luckily, the SEGA team who ported the project took the time and invested the effort to offer gamers of the day fresh, new content to counterbalance the cutbacks -- and they succeeded. The included "Original Mode" here is so different that it's essentially its own separate game, and that makes the overall offering definitely worth consideration for your Wii Points. Two games together for the price of one, with that price being just eight bucks, is not a bad deal at all. So if you're a run-and-gun fan who doesn't mind attacking the enemy alone, give the newly-renamed Wolf of the Battlefield: MERCS a serious look.

Back on Game Boy Color, Konami hooked me with a little gem of a title called Survival Kids. Now nearly a decade later, its evolution, Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked, is still trying to offer a similar experience, but is stretching itself way too thin. The concepts are there - you need to eat food, get water, build shelter, and explore the island – but it’s wrapped up in needless gameplay fodder. The design doesn’t need a girl character to babysit, a flawed pet system, dozens and dozens of decent (but not great) mini-game challenges, or a huge cast of supporting characters in order to be good. Just give me an island, full use of the Wii-mote for interacting with objects I’ve collected, and make me brave the elements. After nine years of development, Lost in Blue has moved away from it’s “Zelda on an island” game design, and instead is moving closer to a mini-game fest for casual gamers. We’ve got plenty of those games on Wii already; bring back the true feeling of survival.

Death Tank isn’t disappointing solely because of its price; it’s the game’s soul that leaves plenty to be desired. The weapons are too run of the mill and the structure of both the single and multiplayer portions is unimaginative. Playing with others, as it so often is, brings more fun than playing alone, but after long you’ll grow tired of the same action over and over again.
