Profitant d'un bel écrin visuel et d'un rendu sonore stupéfiant, Dirt Rally 2.0 vous offre des sensations de conduite saisissantes. S'il tombe rapidement dans la redite au niveau des tracés proposés et intègre un mode carrière perfectible, ce nouveau volet fait figure de référence absolue pour les pilotes virtuels chevronnés. Particulièrement exigeant et punitif, il se révèle aussi délicat à dompter que son prédécesseur, mais le jeu en vaut définitivement la chandelle.

Ricapitolando, non basta un semplice remaster per svecchiare il titolo, ma il gameplay regge ancora e la storia fa il suo (una delle migliori della serie). Final Fantasy IX vale sicuramente la pena di essere acquistato dai fan più nostalgici, sebbene il prezzo di 20,99 euro potrebbe far desistere più di qualcuno. È sempre una piacevole sorpresa vedere come un RPG, nonostante la pelle grinza e le rughe, riesca ad appagare il giocatore 20 anni dopo il suo debutto ed è una gioia averlo facilmente accessibile su una console moderna. Ci tengo a precisare che il mio giudizio numerico non è relativo al gioco in sé, opera intramontabile, ma alla qualità della conversione.

While it can be enjoyable, Jump Force’s power level is nowhere near 9000. This is unfortunate, as the concept for Jump Force is a good idea at its basic level and it’s clear the developers are passionate about the source material but the title ultimately does not live up to the idea’s potential. The story fails to really explain what’s going on and who all these characters are, but also is able to do so in a way where you don’t really care that you’re missing out on what should be pertinent information. The gameplay itself is enjoyable though not groundbreaking, and while there’s a fair amount of fun to be had here, there are more worthwhile options out there.

Jump Force è tutto tranne ciò che ci si aspettava veramente: il titolo, povero di contenuti, immerge il giocatore in una monotonia onnipresente, tanto che non bastano le missioni e il matchmaking online per risollevare le sorti del gioco. A dare il colpo di grazia su una produzione così attesa ci pensano una narrazione davvero pessima ed un combat system "meno combat, più system" afflitto da un comparto tecnico datato. Anche i modelli dei personaggi sono pessimi nella realizzazione artistica, tanto da farli sembrare dei fantocci in gomma che comunicano telepaticamente tra loro. In sostanza, possiamo definire Jump Force come il primo e vero flop di questo ambizioso 2019.

Monster Energy Supercross 2 est à l’image de l’ensemble de la production de Milestone : un jeu pensé par les fans mais qui manque cruellement de temps de développement. Avec plusieurs jeux par an, le studio peaufine sa formule mais il manque à chaque fois des éléments pour en faire une réelle référence arcade dans le secteur.

Chi ha giocato l'avventura di Gidan e della sua combriccola su PlayStation Vita sa già quanto sia comodo e piacevole riscoprire (o rigiocare) Final Fantasy IX in portabilità, e per molti questo rappresenta un motivo più che sufficiente per acquistare (o riacquistare) il gioco su Nintendo Switch. Eppure siamo convinti che la storia della serie Square Enix, in un modo o nell'altro, meriti da parte dell'azienda nipponica almeno metà dell'amore e della passione dimostrata negli anni dai suoi fan.

Creepy Road is a mixed bag of pros and cons. Whilst it looks and sounds the part, handles quite fluidly, and comes with a diverse variation of enemies and weaponry, there’s just too many glaring issues holding it back. Chief among them being lazily designed boss battles, poor hit detection, and several environmental bugs. It’s a shame really, because had the developer held the game’s quality to a higher standard, this could have been a hit.

Posto che la base di Tetris 99 sia ben poco discutibile, essendo a tutti gli effetti un archetipo videoludico per quanto riguarda i puzzle, valutiamo qui l'efficacia dei nuovi innesti multiplayer online, che risultano sorprendentemente ben implementati. L'idea della battle royale applicata a Tetris può sembrare stravagante ma la sua integrazione si rivela perfettamente naturale, donando nuova linfa al gioco e rendendolo ancora più stimolante. Il fatto di essere distribuito gratuitamente per gli abbonati a Nintendo Switch Online è inoltre una notevole mossa strategica, perché lo rende un importante plus applicato alla sottoscrizione: forse più dei giochi NES e dei salvataggi in cloud, Tetris 99 assume l'aspetto di una vera killer application per il servizio online di Nintendo Switch.
