Die Diablo-Serie hat mich schon mehr Stunden meines Lebens gekostet, als ich zugeben möchte. Und mit der Ultimate Evil Edition auf Konsolen wurde und wird das Zeitkonto gewaltig aufgestockt – obwohl ich Reaper of Souls auf dem PC bereits durchgespielt hatte. Doch das einfache Hack&Slay-Konzept mitsamt seiner überarbeiteten, hoch motivierenden Beutejagd passt optimal auf die Konsole. Und mit den zahlreichen kleinen Verbesserungen, die sich zu den bewährten Inhalten und Erweiterungen wie dem Abenteuer-Modus oder dem Kreuzritter als neuer Charakter gesellen, ist diese Fassung ein Rundum-Glücklich-Paket – egal ob man solo oder mit bis zu vier Spielern auf Monster- und Gegenstands-Jagd geht. Charaktere lassen sich übertragen, man kann seinen Nemesis auf die Freunde hetzen, die direkte Steuerung der Figur ist dem Klick-und-Lauf-System des PC überlegen. Dass Reaper of Souls für Besitzer des Originals nicht als Download-Erweiterung zu Verfügung steht, ist schade, wird aber durch den im mittleren Bereich angesiedelten Preis der 360- und PS3-Fassung zumindest etwas kompensiert. Wer kann, sollte aber ohnehin auf die Versionen für PS4 oder One umsteigen, die auch visuell mit schicker 1080p-Auflösung ohne Bildrateneinbrüche selbst bei heftigstem Effekt-Gewitter überzeugen.

Just Dance 2019, for better and for worse, doesn’t do much to step the series outside of its comfort zone. Though even so, it still manages to maintain the allure that’s held the franchise together for quite a number of years now. Despite the odd issue with its tracking technology, the game offers countless hours of fun for players of all ages, complete with a decent online component to further its longevity.

L’ambientazione non si accontenta di essere disturbante ma cerca di raccontare la storia di un mondo e della sua società malata. Una gestione del ritmo non perfetta e qualche problema tecnico non bastano per non consigliare a tutti gli amanti del genere un viaggio nel 2084 immaginato da Bloober Team.
