Il faut être un peu nostralgique, ou historien, pour succomber à ce Wizardry très actuel (parce qu'il a inspiré tous les RPG) et très daté dans ce qu'il propose (un donjoin à nettoyer). Mais le fun est là!

Battles in Crown Wars: The Black Prince can be determined by minutiae. If you’ve properly kitted out your soldiers and created a well-balanced party, victory is always within reach. Likewise, if the game can mend some of its imperfections, success seems likely. As long as the Artefacts Studio’s battle plan involves a long-term commitment of listening to feedback and making necessary modifications, Crown Wars has the potential to become a minor hit.

If you’re looking for a game to start your love affair with tactical turn-based games, Crown Wars: The Black Prince is as good a choice as any thanks to the way healing and upgrades work. Despite a few flaws, I had a great time with Crown Wars: The Black Prince.

Hauntti nous a totalement envoûté. Magnifique, plaisant à parcourir et porté par une superbe bande-son, le titre est une véritable perle dans l’écosystème vidéoludique. Partant du gameplay basique des twin-stick shooters, il vient incorporer une mécanique de possession des objets et individus alentour, chacun possédant sa propre compétence. Varié également dans ses environnements, son bestiaire ou encore la récupération de ses collectibles en partie obligatoires, Hauntii ne nous a jamais lassé, bien au contraire.

Wizardry has made its mark in the development of RPG games in inspiring the next generation to kick on. A re-hashing of a text adventure and making it more graphical does sound very appealing but it only works if you make it more inclusive. I understand the older games were tough as they had to be to provide longevity but the new modern gamer may not have the patience for games as tough as this that require a lot of repetition and overcoming of frustration.

Un remake competente e graficamente piacevole che però resta sin troppo aderente al gioco originale per risultare effettivamente gradevole fino in fondo nel 2024. La quantità di piccole modifiche apportate al gioco lo rendono sicuramente più digeribile e chi apprezza il genere ha finalmente l'occasione di giocare il capostipite di una saga certamente importante: resta da capire quanto la voglia di affrontare un pezzo di storia abbia il sopravvento sulla frustrazione che i labirinti di questa nuova incarnazione di Wizardry possono instillare.

Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord non fa probabilmente per la maggior parte dei giocatori moderni e non si pone nemmeno il problema di compiacerli più di tanto. La definiremmo quasi un'esperienza didattica, che può allo stesso tempo coinvolgere e respingere chi non ha mai vissuto un certo periodo del medium videoludico. Come remake è altresì ottimo, dimostrando per l'ennesima volta la capacità di Digital Eclipse di valorizzare le opere del passato, attualizzandole nel modo più intelligente e rispettoso possibile.

En voulant concurrencer Genshin Impact, Kuro Games a repris tout ce qui faisait le succès du titre de HoYoverse... parfois trop même. Que ce soit dans sa structure, son contenu et même son interface, tout rappelle le roi du gacha. Pour autant, il tente de se démarquer sur certains points comme son gameplay d'action plus poussé que ses rivaux, mais aussi sa direction artistique élégante qui pourra en faire basculer certains. Malheureusement, difficile de profiter de l'expérience comme il faut à cause de cette traduction française ratée. En résumé, Wuthering Waves a quelques arguments pour convaincre les déçus de Genshin Impact, mais reste à savoir s'il réussira à faire preuve d'un suivi aussi exemplaire que celui des productions HoYoverse.
