In 2019, Asobo surprised us all with a game that found a way to utilize AAA tropes in the pursuit of a compelling narrative. Three years later, Asobo have not only bested that prior effort, they might well have crafted one of the best follow-ups not just of this year, but of the past few years. It’s hard not to understate just how much more refined, fleshed out and expanded in scope A Plague Tale: Requiem both looks and feels. But it’s because the game is firing on so many cylinders where the former surprise of prior comes flooding back in a sequel that manages to exceed even such high expectations going into this. Terrific story and performances from its cast, smart progression, a compelling stealth-focused gameplay loop, an expanded palette in its visuals and a soundtrack that underscores the roller-coaster of emotion underpinning all of this. A Plague Tale: Requiem seldom loses its footing — a sequel and indeed a tale that’s both ambitious and compelling to the very end.

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed ofrece una solvente, equilibrada y honesta experiencia asimétrica que apuesta por la diversión directa entregando, además, una buena adaptación de la franquicia a la que acude. Un título modesto que sabe crecer desde la simpleza de su planteamiento, dando lugar a la que, para mí, es la propuesta más sólida que ha firmado Illfonic hasta el momento.

Uncharted se suma a la lista de los ports bien hechos de juegos PlayStation, con dos soberbias e intensas aventuras que te mantendrán pegados al mando. Uncharted: Raccolta L'Eredità dei Ladri debutta su PC con una conversione eccellente, magari non straordinariamente ricca di regolazioni, ma terribilmente concreta e in grado di impiegare con grande efficacia le tecniche di upscaling, nonché di offrire soluzioni alternative grazie a cui tirare fuori ancora qualche fotogramma e ottenere così un'esperienza fluida, consistente e capace di valorizzare le straordinarie sequenze con protagonisti Nathan Drake, suo fratello Sam e l'insolita coppia formata da Chloe Frazer e Nadine Ross.

UNCHARTED: RACCOLTA L'EREDITÀ DEI LADRI (PC) Nathan Drake è invecchiato, ma così non è per la saga di Uncharted che con questa raccolta dei due ultimi capitoli, Uncharted 4: La fine di un ladro e Uncharted: L'eredità perduta, esalta il valore di una produzione che oramai vive da quindici anni appassionando giocatori di ogni età e ogni “credo” videoludico. Marvel Snap contiene ideas atrevidas, una jugabilidad profunda, una presentación impactante y mucho amor por Marvel. Su enfoque de la creación de una colección y la aleatoriedad del juego no será para todo el mundo, pero sigue mereciendo la pena jugarlo.
