JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R, purtroppo, fallisce sul più bello. Quest'opera è, infatti, ancora oggi una notevole dimostrazione del talento di CyberConnect2 e il tanto atteso passaggio ai 60 fps, unito alle tante migliorie contenutistiche e allo stratosferico roster, la rendono perfettamente in grado di vedersela con altri picchiaduro ben più blasonati, nonostante un sistema di combattimento non particolarmente rifinito. Il team giapponese, però, è caduto su uno degli aspetti più importanti: ha ignorato bellamente il rollback netcode, optando per un'esperienza online che facciamo davvero fatica a definire "solida". Resta un lavoro consigliatissimo ai fan delle opere di Araki.

Pac-Man World Re-Pac offers a solid remake of the PlayStation game, but it’s doubtful that this is a re-release you were clamoring for. Pac’s turn-of-the-century outings were a bit unremarkable.

Everything in Ooblets is downright adorable, from the cheeky dialogue to the unique dance battles to the well-designed creatures themselves. That charm was enough to draw me in from the get go and keep a gleeful smile on my face for most of the 30-hour story. But while I could easily see myself going back to improve my farm, home, and Ooblets collection a while longer, the actual mechanics behind those tasks don’t have much to dig into past their skin-deep sense of style. That means Ooblets is an amusing farm battler, just not a very exciting one.

Se amate il Mobile Suit più famoso del mondo, SD Gundam Battle Alliance è un vero gioiellino che dietro il character design Super Deformed - che non piacerà a tutti, pacifico - nasconde un loop assuefacente, tanto fanservice e un sistema di combattimento solidissimo, viziato purtroppo da qualche sbavatura di ordine tecnico. Approcciandovi al titolo firmato Artdink e Bandai col nostro stesso scetticismo iniziale, potreste restare piacevolmente stupiti: a nostro avviso, questa è la strada che la serie dovrebbe intraprendere anche nelle sue future iterazioni proporzionate.

SD Gundam Battle Alliance propone un buon gameplay di gioco e una notevole componente multiplayer, che siamo curiosi di vedere come potrebbe essere approcciata dai giocatori in futuro. La narrazione, tuttavia, ci è sembrata confusionaria: perde il proprio spessore nella seconda parte dell’esperienza e nella conclusione, che avrebbe dovuto essere gestita con maggiore accortezza. Tuttavia, siamo davanti a uno dei videogiochi migliori sull’universo di Gundam mai realizzato, uno dei pochi che propone un sistema di combattimento impegnativo e appagante. Non potevamo chiedere di meglio.

There is no catharsis, nor horror, only monotony and an ironic sense of nausea that comes from starting into this abyss. Some ideas here would have drawn curious players of niche, B-tier Japanese adventures back in the PS2 days, but beyond the tight four-hour anime recap, this is truly an irredeemable adaptation.

For creator Sam Barlow and his studio Half Mermaid Productions, the push to eccentric cinematography continues with Immortality, as the video game elements fade further into the background. Some may find this odd collection of indie flicks enticing, but many will be disappointed by the lackluster interactivity.

PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC is not only a mouthful to say but it’s a great take on the game from yesteryear. PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC is the remastered version of PAC-MAN WORLD and it holds up great. The platforming is crisp and fun. I really like taking a beloved character like Pac-Man and changing his gameplay mechanics on their heads. You get the best of both worlds of classic Pac-man and classic platforming gameplay. Recommend!

PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC cumple sin deslumbrar. Ofrece unas cuantas horas de diversión sólida sin complicaciones, lo que le convierte, por fondo y forma, en un estupendo juego iniciático para los más pequeños. A los mayores tal vez les sepa a poco y dediquen más tiempo a meditar por qué Pac-Mom es una bola amarilla con sombrero pegada a las piernas de un maniquí de Victoria Secret. Es una pena que este remake no lograse brillar como otros que sí han logrado revitalizar con más éxito a otros grandes clásicos. O que tampoco podamos encontrar en su sencillez su mayor valor debida a su originalidad. PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC resulta tan divertido como lo fue el original en su momento, sí, pero en 2022 a los juegos hay que pedirles más en lo técnico, lo jugable y lo carismático, por básica que resulte su propuesta.

La note que j'ai mise est vraiment conciliante par rapport à ce que ce titre mérite vraiment, je le sauve de l'alerte rouge simplement parce que je ne veux pas bafouer la mémoire d'un titre légendaire comme les développeurs ont eux osé le faire ! C'est complètement honteux, je n'ai jamais vu un jeu Playstation Studios aussi mal développé et encore moins venant du mythique studio Naughty Dog. Faire payer 80€ pour un soi-disant "Remake" est une insulte aux joueurs amoureux (comme moi) des licences inégalables de Sony (et encore je ne l'ai pas payé, heureusement !). Je n'ai pas les mots pour vous exprimer la tristesse qui me hante depuis que j'ai lancé le titre il y a quelques semaines de cela, j'ai du mal à comprendre pourquoi ils ont osé faire ça, à quel moment le marketing doit-il prendre le pas sur l'amour pour promouvoir une série à venir ? Expliquez-moi, par pitié Sony, pourquoi avez-vous abimé mes souvenirs à ce point ? J'en retourne à mes mouchoirs...

Gerda: A Flame in Winter è un gioco narrativamente sorprendente, con una ramificazione che dà un effettivo senso alle nostre decisioni e nella quale nulla può darsi per scontato o, ancor meno, dirsi inutile. Tutto ha un peso, supportato da un sistema ruolistico semplice soltanto in apparenza e che diventa presto la colonna portante dell'esperienza, capace di ribaltare completamente tutti i nostri sforzi lasciandoci impotenti di fronte agli eventi. Non c'è un giusto e uno sbagliato, persino in un contesto che potrebbe apparire ovvio come la Seconda Guerra Mondiale e l'occupazione nazista: ci siamo soltanto noi, le nostre scelte e le rispettive conseguenze, tutt'altro che scontate o prevedibili. Qualunque sia il risultato, giunti alla fine difficilmente vi sentirete insoddisfatti dell'esperienza che avrete vissuto.

Despite some asset recycling for the game’s recreation of Ximending, Dusk Diver 2 offers some tasty visuals. The neighborhood is a culinary paradise, with stat-boost delectables that are often mouthwateringly rendered. The game’s dungeons are often imaginably designed, with one early setting resembling a twisted arcade where you’ll have to evade huge air hockey pucks. Sonically, the game’s soundtrack is as varied as its gastronomic influences, so you’ll enjoy some synthy house as well as driving guitar tracks.
