Goat Simulator 3 fa tutto quello che dovrebbe fare, molto meglio dell'originale, ma anche dell'(in)dimenticabile secondo capitolo, se è per questo. La nuova struttura a missioni, che infonde una flebile progressione all'avventura, si rivela sufficientemente solida sia per inspessire l'esperienza, non più ad esclusivo appannaggio degli amanti dei sandbox nudi e crudi, sia per convogliare più efficacemente il tasso demenziale e distruttivo insito nel gameplay. Tra decine di oggetti estetici sbloccabili, trofei recuperabili nello scenario e aree segrete da esplorare, che assicurano una longevità di almeno una quindicina di ore, Goat Simulator ha molto da offrire anche a chi cerca un'esperienza più classica. Allo steso tempo, grazie anche al multiplayer co-op, non ha perso un grammo del DNA dell'originale, dando a chiunque i giusti strumenti, lo spazio adeguato e un numero sufficiente di ambientazioni differenti per scatenare un po' di sano caos nonsense. Un titolo divertentissimo e quasi assuefacente, a patto di carpirne spirito e filosofia.

Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration offers a novel way to delve into the past that’s filled with fun and surprises, much like walking into the Atari section at Sears in 1982 must have felt like – I wouldn’t know, I missed out! That’s why it’s such a blast to have this window into the past. I can’t wait to see what gets the Atari 50 treatment next (SEGA would be my top choice). It’s not just the updated control schemes and gorgeous graphical recreations that make these games accessible, it’s the stories behind them. After hearing multiple people rave about Yars’ Revenge or Star Raiders in the documentary segments, you just want to check them out yourself. Just read the manual first! It’s provided, along with many other glittering artifacts that reveal the magic of the early arcade and console era. With Atari 50, you didn’t have to be there.

Those looking for tough, but fun, arcade shoot-em-up action should absolutely check out SophStar. It plays well, offers a great challenge, and has a decent amount of extra modes to check out when we’ve been beaten down for the fifth time in a row in the main game.

The Devil in Me propone alcuni piccoli miglioramenti rispetto ai tre precedenti capitoli di The Dark Pictures Anthology, ben visibili nella maggior interazione con l’ambiente e in una libertà di movimento più varia. Se però il lavoro fatto da Supermassive Games a livello di ambientazione e atmosfera è impeccabile, tutta l’impalcatura tipica della serie improntata alle relazioni tra i personaggi e alle scelte multiple funziona molto meno e coinvolge in ben pochi momenti. Anche il ritmo non è sempre perfetto e le espressioni facciali dei personaggi sono ancora lontane dai migliori titoli tripla-A, ma se cercate un’esperienza horror con la giusta dose di tensione, amate il genere slasher e le avventure narrative non vi "spaventano", sono 40 euro ben spesi.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is een heruitgave die ergens tussen remaster en volledige remake zweeft, maar boven alles van een PSP-titel een hele moderne actie-RPG weet te maken die zo uit 2022 had kunnen komen, op een paar puntjes na.

Dans l’absolu, Goat Simulator 3 arrive à convaincre. Le mode coop à 4 joueurs est une bonne idée, le fun est présent, et l’histoire est juste hilarante. Il en va de même pour l’aspect personnalisation qui est cosmétique certes, mais reste aussi au service du gameplay via certains accessoires ou armes que l’on peut utiliser. Seulement voilà, le titre s’essouffle quand même assez vite puisqu’il n’est pas fun suffisamment longtemps en solo, il n’y a pas de serveurs dédiés, et puis il n’en reste pas moins répétitif sur le schéma de progression, vite ennuyeux. Ajoutez à cela des graphismes dépassés, une optimisation parfois foireuse et des bugs à foison voire des imprécisions, et vous obtenez un titre convenable, sans non plus être LE GO(A)TY que l’on aurait voulu. Néanmoins le prix est suffisamment accessible pour vous laisser tenter, vous en faire un plaisir coupable, d’autant que la production de Coffee Stain Studio offre un contenu relativement décent en plus de mini-jeux en coopération totalement délirants.

Goat Simulator 3 is the evolution in idiocy I’d hoped for from this iconically weird series. It almost certainly won’t wow you with its level of polish or a deep, meaningful narrative, but sometimes it’s a good idea to turn your brain off and buck your hooves into an old lady’s face while she fires a rocket launcher at you. With a larger map, more ridiculous references and hilarious jokes, and multiplayer that only enhances the ludicrous good times, I can easily recommend this to anyone with a taste for its silly sense of humor and a few hours to kill.

The Chant had the pieces to be a unique piece of survival horror entertainment, but the assorted aspects of the title fail to congeal into a satisfying adventure. The combat is clunky and bland, and the story has its moments, but doesn't deliver in the end.
