Ironcast is an esoteric little package with a lot to offer. The levels vary in difficulty and really do need you to keep your head in the game, despite it looking like a simplistic match-3. If match-3 and strategy are your thing, then this is a perfect game for you.

Grim Fandango is a great game let down by its age, it generally looks good but persistent bugs hinder the experience. For fans of adventure and puzzle games I would highly recommend it, as it has one of the most engrossing and enjoyable stories of recent memory, and even the simplest of puzzles offer great satisfaction upon completion. The world and story of Manny Calavera are the main reasons to play Grim Fandango, persisting through the bugs can sometimes be a frustrating experience but it will be worthwhile. Grim Fandango is truly a classic of its time and will remain a highlight of the adventure/puzzle genre for years to come. This new remastered version may do little to enhance the experience but it does offer gamers a chance to play a remarkable game, and that is surely worthwhile enough.

Deathtrap is a game that has all the functional workings of a tower defense game and depth of an RPG, which makes for a surprisingly good combination. For such a low price it’s hard to go wrong with a game like this, while most tower defense games tend to get boring after a few hours, Deathtrap keeps you wanting more and more action. There were very few aspects of the game that I did not like and those were easy enough to forget about because of how entertaining the rest of the game is. I would highly recommend Deathtrap to any fan of tower defense games as it is a fresh take on the genre.

Sumo Digital had the unenviable task of taking on one of Sony’s franchises, and pulled it off with gusto. A more technical advancement to go with the new hardware would’ve been nice, but the new additions are numerous and significant enough to ensure plenty of ambitious and exciting content from the Little Big Planet community.

With stunning graphics and some of the best football gameplay you'll experience, PES is certainly a must have for any football fan, but what stops it from being a truly immersive and realistic game is the set of dull and confusing menus and sub-menus and still no licensed English teams.

It feels stripped back, but not in a ‘finely tuned race car’ kind of way, but rather ‘old banger that’s had more than a few collisions’ way. It’s a significantly worse game than most of those that have preceded it, with some jaw-dropping omissions and rather dull additions. I had hope that once Yuke’s gave over the reigns we would see an new age for WWE videogames, but this isn’t the new start that I imagined. 2K15 is a serviceable game, and can be great fun at times (the ability to play with friends is what’s keeping the score from dipping below five), but it pales in comparison to the older WWE titles, making it almost pointless to upgrade.
