You can't go in thinking your getting Lords of Shadow on 3DS, because you're not. Mirror of Fate goes back even deeper into the Castlevania catalog, and harnesses strengths from a bygone era, while looking about as good as a game can look on a four inch screen.

All-Stars is decent at home on the PS3, but it's better suited for the PS Vita handheld. The good news is, you get two for the price of one.

The gameplay improvements made to Borderlands 2 make it a more fun cooperative experience than before. The enhanced storyline is more rewarding for the single player audience as well. The combination of the two make for an exponentially better game than Gearbox's first effort.

Demon's Souls is a challenging and lengthy RPG romp through one of the most difficult yet rewarding fantasy worlds ever created. Not intended for those that have a tendency to be deterred by a tall challenge.

Broken Age doesn't do a very good job of standing on its own. It very well could end up being regarded as a classic upon its completion, it just doesn’t hold much more than promise, right now.

Bioshock: The Collection is one of the few remasters that I’ve played over the last couple of years that feels necessary. With gameplay that stands the test of time and stories that remain intriguing to this day, the visual upgrades make it easy to return to these classic titles for fans of the series. While there’s not much in terms of new content here, the addition of a developer commentary for the original game is fantastic, and we would’ve watched even more of it had it been available across all three games. Bioshock: The Collection is a must-own for fans of the series, and a must-play for those that have yet to do so.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is both an incredible game to look at and to play. Arc System Works has done right by the Dragon Ball name giving fans of the source material plenty to be happy about.

Minor complaints aside, Super Meat Boy on the Switch is a fine port of the game. While the Race Mode is an interesting addition, it’s not necessarily a reason to go out and buy this game, yet again. If you’ve yet to play it though, Super Meat Boy is a modern indie classic that holds a lot of value in its challenge and depth.

Capcom has managed to build a much more fun and addictive adventure out of Dead Rising 4, although that comes at the expense of transforming the game into a whole different experience with the excellent Capcom Heroes mode. That addition alone somehow offsets the lackluster graphics, and with a better campaign and all the previous DLC included, Frank’s Big Package is a very attractive product for anyone looking for an absorbing, carefree action game, even if it’s still subpar considered with previous entries in the series.

The real hook for the long time fans will be the back story explanation that is had by digging into the nooks and crannies of Assassin's Creed: Revelations, but expecting any drastic changes in terms of graphics or gameplay could leave you disappointed.

The gameplay in multiplayer is still the same, tight, controlled, chaos. The single player might be getting a little long in the tooth, but it's definitely enjoyable for either the new comer or the old hand, if just for the spectacle of it all.

I think the true measure of Battlefield 3 is the fact that you can’t replicate what you’ll find in any given game you play. The destruction, coupled with vehicles, huge maps, and variety of weapons, give each match a very distinct feel.

Dead Rising 2: Off The Record isn't a bad game by any means. It can have its moments of fun, and their are times when it will give you a chuckle that's for sure.
