It may not mean too much from a newcomer not well-acquainted with survival horror, but Silent Hill f is what I have honestly sought for the genre. Amidst expected implementations of sudden scares, the real, memorable jeopardy lurks in the fears you believe are seemingly beyond sight. Not leaving me terrified in short bursts, but instead contemplative of what I just witnessed. At its frayed heart, Silent Hill f utilizes its compact cast to embrace that psychological dread brilliantly, encompassing varied, bold topics that are not repressed or refrained. Strengthened by a healthy dose of replayability via multiple endings, as well as anxious gameplay systems, this entry should satisfy fan cravings for a new quality game in this franchise that was once long-neglected.

RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business doesn’t reinvent the Rogue City formula, but it does build off of its most fun elements. By shrinking the scope to one building, the experience zeroes in on character and environmental beats that just wouldn’t have worked before. Still, many of the glitches and gameplay limitations remain, and even though they work well within the Robocop series, optimization would go a long way toward enhancing the experience. If you were wondering if you should play Unfinished Business, well, that’s easy, because hell ya, you should.

This is a comfort food kind of collection, simple, satisfying, and always ready to give you a little push to try again after every failed beat. For rhythm fans, strategy players, or just those craving something a little different, PATAPON 1+2 Replay is worth marching into.
