Fiel a la saga, Touch My Katamari es un juego directo, que divierte con una sencilla mecánica. Por desgracia es muy corto y llega sin traducir, pero si te van los juegos diferentes, deberías probarlo (si no lo has hecho en otras consolas).

La line up iniziale di Playstation Vita si fregia di un ulteriore videogioco meritevole con Touch My Katamari. Un episodio del puzzle game Namco piuttosto in linea con i precedenti della serie per quanto concerne le dinamiche di gameplay, ma completamente originale nel design dei livelli e nell'imprescindibile colonna sonora. Il team di sviluppo ha sfruttato al meglio i due analogici, ma si è anche ingegnato per implementare un sistema di controllo interamente tattile e un paio di feature aggiuntive via touch screen posteriore. Sfiorando quest’ultimo il katamari si estenderà in orizzontale o in verticale, ma per quanto intriganti non sono aggiunte capaci di avere un forte impatto sul gameplay. Manca il multiplayer competitivo, anche se sono disponibili un paio di opzioni per scambiare oggetti e record con i propri amici, contenuti scaricabili e un programma di gioco scandito giorno per giorno. In soldoni: la formula non cambia ed i fan saranno ben contenti dei livelli inediti, ma tutti gli altri coglieranno le gioie del far rotolare un katamari?

Touch My Katamari is well-controlled and fun while it lasts, but it feels like the series has stagnated. The touchscreen controls are welcome, but I wish the developers had been a bit more creative with the Vita’s functionality. Imagine using the Vita’s augmented reality capabilities to roll a Katamari ball around your actual living room? Or standing on an apartment balcony and rolling a giant Katamari around your neighborhood? Or indeed doing something, anything, other than the exact same thing that Katamari fans have been doing since 2004? Instead we get the same old Katamari experience once again, and while it’s a solid entry point for newcomers, there’s honestly nothing to see here for long-term fans. This is one rolling stone that has noticeably gathered moss.

Touch My Katamari is still a decent series entry, and if you don't know the franchise there's some enjoyment to be found, though the authenticity and soul of Takahashi's Katamari games remains lost.

Touch My Katamari n’est pas un mauvais jeu mais manque cruellement d’originalité, de contenu et d’ambition. Au final, la série tourne de plus en plus en rond et on se demande désormais ce qui pourra la sortir de sa torpeur.
