A Golden Wake è un’avventura grafica che parte da una buona idea che viene però sviluppata in modo troppo sbrigativo. È un peccato perché i dialoghi e i personaggi partono da una base di caratterizzazione molto buona ma assieme alla storia si sviluppano in modo troppo superficiale. La sensazione globale è quella di dedicare il proprio tempo a un gioco che non mette sul banco tutte le proprie carte, che poteva essere sviluppato in modo più approfondito, godendo comunque della leggerezza che trasmette.
