Overcooked! 2 sigue a pies juntillas el manual de las buenas secuelas: más grande, más opciones multijugador, más recetas, más personajes... Quizá no se aleje demasiado del original y puede parecer "más de lo mismo", pero en cuanto te pongas a jugar y te dejes llevar por su adictiva jugabilidad, ni siquiera eso importará. Diversión en estado puro.

Overcooked 2 mejora la propuesta de la primera entrega de esta serie, puliendo las aristas jugables y añadiendo pequeños toques que acaban por hacer aún más divertido este juego de cocina cooperativa. Si eres un jugador solitario sigue sin ser la mejor opción, pero ahora al menos hay opciones de juego online para que puedas encontrar siempre algún amigo, listo para hacer realizar las múltiples recetas que Ghost Town Games ha incluido en este título.

Overcooked 2 serves up a great balance of hilarious chaos and strategy alongside meaningful improvements over its predecessor. The kitchens have more moving parts, the recipes are more varied, and the ability to throw ingredients fundamentally changes the arcade cooking formula. It’s still ideal when played on the couch with friends, but solo play is much improved, and online support adds versatility.

Overcooked! 2 migliora la formula del primo gioco sotto ogni aspetto. Se avete uno o più amici con cui giocarci personalmente (meglio) oppure online (meno comodo, ma comunque godibile) vi potrà regalare davvero tantissime ore di divertimento e ve lo raccomandiamo senza scrupoli. In singolo rimane un gioco piacevole e divertente.

Overcooked 2 se veut un peu mieux et plus complet que son prédécesseur bien qu’il ne chamboule pas non plus ce qui a fait son succès. En tout cas, c’est toujours un plaisir de mettre la main à la pâte avec quelques amis pour concocter de bons petits plats. Que l’on soit des pros de l’organisation ou habitué des plats trop cuits, l’amusement est garanti d’autant que le titre nous donne enfin un mode en ligne tant attendu.

It’s obvious how much rage-tinted joy can be conjured from out Ghost Town Games’ quirky set-up of cooking up meals, together with a sprinkling of simulation-style managing of one’s kitchen workspace. And when it comes to reinforcing the communicative and reactive side to co-operative play, Overcooked 2 is — like its predecessor — a welcome reminder that co-op can instill depth in its mechanics. Unfortunately, the continued issues with online play (least on Nintendo’s platform) as well as Ghost Town’s wilful dismissing of a properly-adapted single-player alternative will only go to dwindle the potential audience once more. An audience whom might not see much significant change from what is still essentially an unaltered recipe from previous, but will still find immense joy in partaking in when part of a group. Which is a shame, given how well-realized Overcooked 2‘s core, emergent style of play truly is.
