There’s essentially no limit to how good you can get at OlliOlli 2. Just when you’ve mastered beating levels in a single combo and timing every single grind and manual perfectly, there are a host of other mechanics to integrate into your skating to bump that high score even further skyward. Why land in a boring old manual when you could revert into it? Why do a standard trick or grind when you could add a rotation or pull off something more complex with a longer – and riskier - animation? And hey, are you grind switching on every rail you can? It’s an impressively layered game, and does a great job of tapping deep into the skater psyche, where an obsession with tricks and effortless style intersect.

Olli Olli 2 may be incredibly difficult at times but it is also non stop fun. It takes everything that made the first game great and made it even better. If you missed out on the first game, you really can't go wrong with this one. This is a game that I feel that anyone can enjoy and especially those who need an extreme skateboarding fix since Tony Hawk and Skate are now dead. If there is an Olli Olli 3, I anxiously await to see how they are going to top this one.

OlliOlli 2: Welcome to Olliwood ha tutto quello che avrebbe dovuto avere un seguito di OlliOlli. Più cose da fare, più mosse da eseguire, un livello di sfida migliorato, livelli più vari e un miglioramento grafico/sonoro non indifferente. Se non avete avuto ancora occasione di mettere le mani su questa piccola perla vi consigliamo di non lasciarvela sfuggire ora, grazie anche alla sua introduzione all'interno del parco titoli di marzo del PlayStation Plus. La difficoltà elevata potrebbe scoraggiare i più pavidi, ma siamo certi che, in ogni caso, rimarrete affascinati dalle meccaniche semplici e allo stesso tempo complesse di OlliOlli 2.

Un seguito divertente, ma meno elegante del suo predecessore. L'aggiunta dei manual regala l'emozione delle combo “a tutto livello”, ma il level design la rende una tecnica da usare di default (con rare eccezioni). Così facendo il giocatore viene privato di una scelta significativa e il gioco rischia di diventare faticoso, più che difficile. Ciò nonostante OlliOlli 2 è un grande gioco di skate, consigliato a chiunque abbia apprezzato il primo capitolo.

OlliOlli 2 : Welcome to OlliWood a su garder ses points forts et son coté addictif tout en corrigeant les défauts du 1er opus notamment avec un mode multijoueur compétitif qui permet de comparer vos performances. Extrêmement punitif et à la difficulté plutôt élevée, le jeu reste très agréable, dynamique et plaira aux amateurs de die & retry.
