Es un juego divertido, con bastantes horas de juego y, tal vez, demasiado fácil en el avance por las mejoras y por la extrema puntería que parecen tener siempre nuestras naves, hasta en los modos más complicados. Sin embargo, se deja querer bastante y divierte. Como decimos, siendo un género para nostálgicos, nos hubiese gustado más un lore y un guión o un diseño de personajes menos “blancos”. Pero, al encajar con el universo StarFox parece que todo funciona.

Despite the repetitive nature of Starlink, I still mostly enjoyed my time with it, and I think that's partially because it doesn't feel bloated content-wise. In the end, it's a game made for a younger crowd of gamers, and if I put myself in that mindset, Starlink is one hell of a good time.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas è un titolo che cerca di uscire un po' fuori dagli schemi rispetto ai suoi concorrenti nel genere. Si nota la voglia da parte di Ubisoft di ritagliarsi una nicchia ben studiata e c'è l'impegno nel voler realizzare un prodotto di qualità, anche per quanto riguarda i toys da acquistare a parte, di ottima fattura. Peccato per la ripetitività, un fardello che ormai tanti titoli si portano dietro ma che speriamo in questo caso verrà risolto con il rilascio di DLC validi e che amplino l'esperienza di gioco. E' un progetto che può farsi valere, le basi ci sono.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas è un titolo open world gradevole e con una buona quantità di contenuti, arricchito dalla possibilità di divertirsi con le astronavi e i piloti giocattolo, molto ben realizzati. Tenetelo nel vostro radar se amate il genere o se avete così tanto bisogno di un nuovo Star Fox (comprensibile) da accontentarvi di questa piccola avventura della volpe galattica, che torna in gran forma a fare compagnia al resto della ciurma di piloti.

With or without the unnecessary toys, Starlink: Battle for Atlas is a commendable space adventure. Even with the repetitive grind and randomly scattershot space combat, this is a great-looking, gratifying game of strategic action and environmental exploration. Switch owners are undoubtedly the winners, but there’s something here to enjoy on any platform.

Malgré quelques défauts allant de missions redondantes à un univers qui manque de caractère et d'originalité, Starlink : Battle for Atlas propose une expérience agréable à suivre et à prendre en main. Les amateurs de Space Opera y verront un titre offrant une version accessible et plaisante du genre, incitant à l'exploration et à la flânerie dans un univers coloré, le tout sans temps de chargement. Sans briller, le dernier-né des équipes d'Ubisoft Toronto s'invite donc avec un certain succès dans l'univers impitoyable des jeux vidéo/jouets, offrant même une alternative dématérialisée aux joueurs réfractaires à la pratique. Une bonne idée, assurément.
