Endless Dungeon will have players coming for the unique blend of rip-roaring action and tower defense, but what should keep them around is the impressive and lovable cast of characters, along with their various stories to become invested in. But whether you want gunplay, strategy, exploration or story, this is a game can provide it all in one simple-yet-deep package, making for a terrific experience that’s not to be missed out on. Non possiamo negare quanto Endless Dungeon sia effettivamente uno dei titoli più meritevoli del suo genere. Quest’ultimo, quello dei twin stick shooter roguelite, parecchio popolare: ma che raramente offre un tale divertimento, così ben “studiato” a tavolino. Senza nulla togliere alla componente per singolo giocatore (comunque coinvolgente e appagante), è condividendo l’esperienza con gli amici che l’opera di Amplitude Studios arriva a brillare come non mai. Questo grazie a un gameplay stratificato dove la sola forza bruta non sarà mai sufficiente ad arrivare fino in fondo. A contornare questo splendido mix tra azione frenetica in tempo reale e strategia ci sarà poi un superbo art design e una fantastica colonna sonora, con varie e atmosferiche tracce d’autore. Un’interfaccia leggermente più intuitiva e una maggiore varietà delle bocche di fuoco avrebbe reso questa produzione ancora più grande. Ma anche così rimane assolutamente imperdibile per qualunque appassionato del genere.

Avec son mélange de plusieurs genres (rogue-lite, jeu de tir en twin-stick, tower-defense), Endless Dungeon avait tout pour se casser la figure. Pourtant, les français de chez Amplitude Studios nous ont prouvé une fois de plus qu’ils étaient capables de jouer dans la cour des grands. Grâce à son originalité, son rythme très bien dosé et sa direction artistique impressionnante, Endless Dungeon se dévore seul ou en coopération jusqu’à trois joueurs. Et même si les runs sont longues et qu’il manque un peu de mise en scène dans sa narration, on a toujours envie de retourner se perdre dans la station spatiale pour enfin atteindre le réacteur. Un excellent jeu qui permet de très bien conclure une année 2023 déjà riche en contenu pour les amateurs de rogue-lite !

Endless Dungeon è un titolo riuscito, cui il periodo passato in accesso anticipato ha fatto davvero bene, rifinito com'è in ogni meccanica. Non fa gridare al miracolo, ma appare di una solidità unica. Peccato per la difficoltà oscillante dal medio gioco in poi e per una certa confusione dei combattimenti avanzati, ma per il resto ci troviamo di fronte a un'opera ottima, che funziona come dovrebbe.

Endless Dungeon est beau, sonne bien, et est un jeu agréable à jouer. Un nouveau cador des rogue-lites, un jeu qui fonctionne au quart de tour, en étant aussi nerveux que tactique. Que ce soit en solo comme en coop, Endless Dungeon est un jeu qui fonctionne vraiment très bien. Jouez-y !

It requires an almost brash confidence to mash up a twin-stick shooter with a tower defense game, and then further mix that into a sci-fi roguelite. But somehow Endless Dungeon pulls it off, blending them all seamlessly into a great package that strikes just the right balance of action, strategy, and rewarding progression. It can occasionally be frustrating when the random elements stack the deck completely against you, but strong persistent upgrade options make each run still feel like you’ve accomplished something. With a great cast of heroes, a deep roster of monsters, and stellar co-op, Endless Dungeon is an audacious blend that’s worth opening that next door to find.

Fondere il genere rogue-like al tower defence può essere insidioso, ma Amplitude Studios è riuscito a trovare una formula tecnica estremamente efficace ed appagante, quindi l’ha accompagnata con un’ambientazione gradevole e che non viene mai a noi, quella dello sci-fi western. Endless Dungeon non può vantare il carisma e i traguardi artistici di capolavori quali Hades, tuttavia le sue qualità sono comunque sufficienti da meritarsi onore e plauso. Se siete alla ricerca di un titolo da giocare con qualche amico, volete testare le vostre abilità tattico-gestionali e desiderate ardentemente sparare a mostri alieni, questo è sicuramente il gioco che fa per voi.

Endless Dungeon n’est pas qu’un reboot d’un jeu sorti en 2014, c’est une réinterprétation intelligente qui lorgne autant du côté du tower-defense tactique que du jeu d’action explosif. Un plaisir à découvrir entre amis, à condition de bien se coordonner et d’être préparé à des parties pouvant parfois flirter avec les trois heures. On peut déjà s’y plonger sans crainte, et donner quelques semaines à Amplitude pour corriger les soucis mineurs qui l’empêchent parfois de briller comme il le mérite.
