It happened, it finally happened! It’s been too long since I’ve enjoyed a good TMNT game but I am so happy to say Splintered Fate delivered a good time. Roguelites have been hot for a while now and throwing the TMNT skin on top of one makes a lot of sense. I think more recognizable IP’s should branch out and try new genres like Splintered Fate here. Easy recommend for Turtles fans and roguelite enthusiasts alike.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach espande con coraggio l’universo filosofico e post-apocalittico creato quasi sei anni fa da Hideo Kojima, arricchendo e diversificando il gameplay con nuove dinamiche action, pur senza riuscire a replicare la forza narrativa, il fascino dei personaggi e l’impatto emotivo del primo, spiazzante capitolo. Tecnicamente sontuoso e artisticamente ispirato, questo sequel riesce a divertire e intrattenere, ma lascia anche la sensazione che l’impianto narrativo non sia sempre in grado di sostenere senza cali di ritmo e intensità le decine di ore necessarie per giungere al termine dell’avventura.

Death Stranding 2 es una secuela que mejora a su antecesor en todos los aspectos. Con un apartado técnico sublime, una jugabilidad fluida y divertida, y una historia emotiva centrada en sus personajes, Death Stranding 2 es una experiencia fascinante, tanto si te gustó el primer juego como si no.

The original Death Stranding held promise: A complex, often confusing, but never contrived first draft. A reflective journey across a lost America, it established a world and its rules with a flourish, even if I found it stumbled along the path. But in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Australia plays host to an expanded vision and is a more accomplished achievement in nearly every facet. It removes almost all of the friction that weighed down its rookie effort, delighting with a truly unpredictable story full of intrigue and malleable stealth-action playgrounds hidden in its vast, hauntingly beautiful version of Australia. Yes, at times, it is unapologetically weird – but that isn't what defines it. It's an inventive journey packed full of both shock and awe, the sort of bold work that deserves to be encouraged. No, it isn't perfect, but it's incredibly exciting and original, never once straying from the path less trodden, and I love it all the more for it.

Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions have done it again by crafting an exciting, new, visually striking, and emotionally riveting journey. Death Stranding 2 boasts spectacular visuals and performance that gamers deserve from a AAA title in 2025. It also managed to blur the line between movies and video games multiple times. The story keeps players on their toes while letting them be in the moment and feel what Sam is feeling. The gameplay enhancements in the sequel don’t go unnoticed either, as the developers build upon a solid foundation of the first game and provide players with a new and improved experience. Everything combined makes Death Stranding 2: On the Beach a solid 'Game Of The Year' (GOTY) contender for this year.

Face à un défi souvent très relevé de revêtir le costume de suite, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach réussit plusieurs prouesses. Celle de nous procurer à nouveau cette sensation unique de voyage épique au sein d’un monde ouvert magnifique, varié et fascinant, où l’émotion s’amplifie grâce à une bande-son de grande qualité. Celle de nous embarquer encore et sans forcer dans d’innombrables heures de livraisons toujours plus addictives avec les nouveautés embarquées, bien que la partie action nous fasse toujours grimacer. Celle de proposer une histoire qui repousse toujours plus loin les limites de l’entendement, pour le meilleur et pour le pire. Enfin, et en bref, celle de tout simplement faire opérer la magie pour la deuxième fois en raison d’une ambition située un cran au-dessus, accentuant les qualités de l’opus précédent malgré des défauts persistants. Death Stranding 2 risque de s’élever à son tour au rang de chef-d’œuvre auprès des fidèles de la première heure, et les réfractaires du concept original n’ont aucune raison de ne pas continuer à avoir le dos tourné. Hideo Kojima tenait intimement à ce que cette suite ne fasse pas l’unanimité, eh bien qu’il se rassure, elle devrait marcher dans les pas de son prédécesseur.

Lost in Random: The Eternal Die is a clever rogue-lite twist on the Lost in Random universe. Its dice mechanics and strategic depth shine, even if repetition and limited variety hold it back. It's a fun, satisfying gamble worth taking.

Arrivati alle battute conclusive di questa recensione, ci piacerebbe potervi dire che il secondo capitolo dell’ordalia apocalittica di Sam Porter Bridges ci ha rapito esattamente come il primo, che ancora una volta ci ha trasmesso tutto il valore e la potenza immaginifica del dolente universo costruito da Hideo Kojima. Purtroppo le cose non stanno così. Death Stranding 2 è un seguito riuscito solo a metà, che come un corriere stanco si affanna sotto il peso di un comparto narrativo inefficace e, a dirla tutta, dolorosamente cedevole. Pur non schierando in campo rivoluzioni, il gameplay dimostra una saldezza che, anche se non compensa del tutto le mancanze del racconto, quantomeno ne circoscrive gli effetti, regalando al giocatore una bouquet ludico ben assortito e valevole, che propone un diverso equilibrio fra dinamiche di consegna e di combattimento, riuscendo a valorizzare entrambi i volti dell’offerta. Siamo certi che non tutti apprezzeranno tale deriva, ma a parer nostro il profilo dell’esperienza trae beneficio dalla più rifinita alternanza fra “corda e bastone”. Nondimeno facciamo fatica a non considerare Death Stranding 2 uno dei pochi "passi falsi" - relativamente parlando - nella carriera di Hideo Kojima.

Death Stranding 2 est le genre d’œuvre qui répond à lui tout seul à la question « Qu’est-ce qui fait un grand jeu ? ». Une fois de plus, Hideo Kojima et son studio démontrent un savoir-faire indéniable lorsqu’il s’agit de raconter une histoire et de la mettre en scène de la meilleure façon qui soit. On apprécie les améliorations disséminées ici et là, qu’il s’agisse de l’interface, du gameplay ou même du rythme global de l’aventure qui la rend définitivement accrocheur. Ici, les 50 heures de jeu sont passées assez vite pour que l’on se dise qu’on en aurait bien pris 50 autres en rab. Mais puisque les meilleures choses ont une fin, on se consolera en se disant qu’on a ri, on a été émus, on a été surpris et on a été émerveillés comme cela arrive peu dans un jeu vidéo.
