With a great campaign, and engaging (albeit repetitive) multiplayer, Marvel’s Avengers is a fun title with cosmetic-only games as a service components bolted onto it. The innumerable bugs hide what could be an amazing and ever-expanding universe -- I just hope the team at SquareEnix is up to the challenge. I want to “do this all day”...but right now we are in the “you hope for the best and make do with what you get” stage.

Total War Saga: Troy is a step in an interesting direction. The “Saga” distinction allows the team to try some new concepts without disturbing the main franchise, and it does while remaining faithful to the historic roots of its predecessors, with a dash of the fantastical. Some technical wobbles remain, and the game can be occasionally obtuse, but there’s a lot to enjoy here.

Whether you’re a fan of the originals or not, Streets of Rage 4 is a blast from start to finish. Satisfying combat, incredible music and visuals and tons to unlock mean this should be sticking around on your hard drive for some time yet. A lack of 4 player online is a disappointment, but otherwise what’s here more than makes up for the long wait.

Oltre ad un’ottima trasposizione del manga originale, Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions è anche un’ottima alternativa al calcio videoludico tradizionale. Una simulazione arcade con un gameplay tutto suo, fatto di tiri speciali, pose plastiche, contrasti furiosi e lo spettacolo al primo posto. Insieme a dinamiche di gioco perfette per una partita ogni tanto, ed interessanti per chi vuole divertirsi a padroneggiare il calcio secondo Tsubasa, il titolo di Tamsoft e Bandai Namco offre anche una modalità single player ben strutturata, lunga e perfettamente contestualizzata nel mondo creato da Yoichi Takahashi.
