It’s fair to say this is true of the whole experience. Whilst MIND CONTROL DELETE is not quite as brilliantly unique as its predecessor due to the nature of sequels, it is a very thoughtful addition to the series. Its narrative is intriguing and its balancing systems work well. Whilst the repetition of levels can occasionally become grating, the end result is polished, interesting and a great value.

West of Dead is a beautiful looking cel-shaded game which made me feel like a bad ass cowboy, with a sprinkling of Ghost Rider. I felt some of the hit boxes were off slightly on occasion – I’m don’t think I’m that much of a bad shot… The clever mechanics of cover and using light and dark to “hide” your enemies is a good addition. Rogue-lites can be fun if balanced well and this is a wonderfully put together example.

13 Sentinels Aegis Rim è un'opera maestosa, tanto nel suo ambizioso e mai scontato intreccio quanto nella potenza visiva del suo inimitabile character design, e non potrà lasciare indifferenti tante categorie di videogiocatori, dagli amanti dei mech a quelli delle visual novel, passando per gli appassionati di fantascienza in senso più ampio. Nonostante non manchino piccole imperfezioni, come la scarsa leggibilità dell'azione durante le fasi strategiche e la congenita ripetitività di alcune delle fasi da visual novel, l'ultima fatica Vanillaware rimane una pietra angolare del genere di riferimento, che prova a svecchiare ed arricchire come pochi altri esponenti hanno saputo fare nel recente passato. Adesso che abbiamo scoperto le doti di Kamitani-sensei anche come sceneggiatore, dopo averne apprezzato per anni quelle da disegnatore, non vediamo l'ora di mettere la mani sul prossimo prodotto che il suo team partorirà.

Jump Force is a good time for a short time; a simplistic button-masher that looks and sounds great in action but can't deliver in terms of providing players with any more than a handful of hours of dumb fun before it all becomes a bit of a bore. If you're a huge fan of the shows involved or you like your fighting nice and easy you'll get more than most out of things and jumping into an online battle – if you can find one – adds a little spice to the mix but, overall, this is a disappointingly dull, one-note affair that doesn't do its roster of ever-popular characters any sort of justice.

If you want a portable Tony Hawk game, this is the best one yet. Despite the huge decrease in visual fidelity, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 is just as fun as it is on other consoles.

Fast & Furious Crossroads conferma le brutte sensazioni suscitate fin dal primo annuncio del gioco, consegnandoci un racer arcade caratterizzato da una trama perfettamente in linea con quella degli episodi della saga cinematografica, peraltro con la partecipazione di un discreto cast di attori, ma confusionario e privo di personalità sul fronte del gameplay e della struttura. Le missioni sono un mix di situazioni caotiche, la pessima grafica non contribuisce in alcun modo a renderle più digeribili e le poche buone idee messe in campo (la possibilità di passare da un personaggio all'altro, i dispositivi diversi per ogni veicolo) non sono state implementate in maniera convincente, peraltro nell'ambito di una campagna che si completa in quattro ore scarse nonostante il prezzo pieno.
