Like previous effort ABZÛ before it, The Pathless leans heavily into the gorgeous cell-shaded world, and it does so with gameplay and story that keeps you locked and engaged for the entirety of its 10 hour story run. Comparisons to games like Shadow of the Colossus and Journey are apt, but seeing the world rush by at 4K and 60fps is a thing of beauty. Come for the frenetic gameplay, stay for the art.

Sword of the Necromancer manages to bring something new to the flooded rogue-like genre while providing a heartwarming story. It has a multitude of options to allow players to tailor the game to their liking. It’s breadth of mechanics allow for tons of experimentation that will keep you coming back until you finally get the true ending.

Empire of Sin è un gioco che cede al peso delle sue stesse ambizioni, ricco di idee che nel loro piccolo sono interessanti ma, alla fine, non riescono a legarsi assieme come dovrebbero. Non c'è una somma delle singole parti quanto una serie di contenuti che spesso finiscono con il darsi fastidio a vicenda. Malfunzionante e sbilanciato per quanto riguarda i combattimenti, tedioso invece nella sua parte gestionale, Empire of Sin esce vincitore solo nella rappresentazione della Chicago anni '20 e in alcuni aspetti narrativi.

Visually, Pikmin 3 Deluxe doesn't push the boat out much further than the original Wii U version did. Where its changes lie are in its revamped control system and the addition of a new Side Stories mode. Neither are necessarily transformative enough to warrant double dipping if you're perfectly happy with your Wii U copy, but if you're one of the vast majority who don't have a Wii U copy, this Switch update is unquestionably the best way to play it.

It hasn’t aged particularly well, and there are serious technical issues with the remaster, but the sequel to Chrono Trigger is still one of the original PlayStation’s best Japanese role-players.

Non è che sia particolarmente difficile giudicare Hitman 3, è che trattarlo come un prodotto singolo, cioè al netto dei capitoli precedenti, ci pare un po' ingiusto. Se lo dividiamo dagli altri (ma non è questo che ha fatto IO Interactive?), si dimostra un buon gioco, con un numero più che sufficiente di contenuti di grande qualità, ma anche facendo finta di nulla si sente, si vede, che lavora a un terzo delle sue potenzialità. Il consiglio che ci sentiamo di darvi, se non vi siete mai avvicinati alla trilogia, è proprio quello che temevate: acquistare i tre giochi in blocco, magari sfruttando le offerte già annunciate o quelle che verranno proposte in futuro, in modo da avere una delle più divertenti, corpose e sofisticate esperienze stealth di sempre. Vi lasciamo al voto del solo Hitman 3, ma all'opera completa potete dare tranquillamente uno scintillante nove.
