Hell is Us has a blend of exploration, puzzles, and combat that, while familiar, pushes you to really pay attention to the world around you in a way that’s both compelling and occasionally frustrating. Its stark approach to quest and map tracking forces you to use your own powers of observation and take notes to solve its challenges, and the puzzles littered throughout the world kept me on my toes more than action-adventure games like this typically do. Though its lack of enemy variety and fairly straightforward combat mean the action sections don’t stack up in the same way, though there are enough tools in Remi's arsenal to at least have a good time while taking down its monsters. Hell is Us doesn't shy away from showing the dark reality of a country ravaged by war while doing so, as well as how the worst parts of humanity are, in the end, more harrowing than our most terrifying nightmares. It holds up a mirror to us and the world we live in, pushing the boundaries of its own audience's discomfort in a way that will stick with me past any of its fights.

With an incredibly dense lore and labyrinthine level design, Hell Is Us is a captivating experience. The game takes its solid (but tough) combat and chin-scratching puzzles and elevates them with a century spanning mystery that goes deeper and deeper. Its hands off approach means there is a huge emphasis on the world, and thankfully Rogue Factor does not disappoint. It’s not going to be for everyone, but for those that love a good lore-filled mystery, this is a PS5 must-play.

El resultado es una aventura desafiante que recompensa al jugador constantemente con sensaciones muy positivas. Aunque el sistema de combate no alcanza el nivel esperado, Hell is Us destaca por su atmósfera envolvente, su compleja historia y sus ingeniosos puzles.

Belief and disappointment go hand in hand; just ask any sports fan. The crushing blow of losing lingers, but is eventually replaced by a newfound fervor – a flicker of hope that maybe this time things will be different. With the NBA 2K series, it’s mostly been frustrating in recent years because we so often end up being disappointed. Thankfully, NBA 2K26 bucks that trend with a MyCareer mode (for my money the star and core of each annual game) is the best it’s been in years thanks to its amazing prelude storyline. And like a group of reliable role players, a handful of tweaks, most notably the updated shot meter and player movement, tie everything together nicely so that the gameplay in each mode is less stressful and more rewarding. Of course, these excellent improvements make the imperfections stand out, with MyGM continuing to stick out like disgruntled benchwarmers. Overall, NBA 2K26 is the equivalent of a team that’s a few pieces away from contending, making this year’s catchphrase, “Ball Over Everything,” pretty fitting if you don’t count the endless microtransactions in all the online modes. Because when you’ve got the core performing this well, and all eyes are on the on-court action, it becomes easier to ignore those imperfections.

El port de Star Wars Outlaws brilla en Nintendo Switch 2 con una calidad técnica que poco tiene que envidiar a la de otras plataformas, con el atractivo de poder jugarlo en cualquier parte, y con mejores resultados que en dispositivos como Steam Deck. Un port que eleva el techo de lo que Nintendo Switch 2 puede hacer, aunque sea a 30 fps.

Silksong n'est pas la révolution d'une décennie comme Breath of the Wild ou éventuellement GTA 6. Sa difficulté et son univers font de lui un jeu encore réservé à un public amateur d'experience exigeante malgré un effort notable dans son accessibilité. Reste que dans sa catégorie, c'est un roi qui n'a aucunement perdu sa couronne. Le titre suinte par chaque pore de sa peau l'amour de ses développeurs. En plus d'être incontesté dans son domaine, Silksong est un exemple pour tous. Un exemple qui montre ce que l'on peut livrer avec du temps et de l'amour. Comme une chenille, les développeurs de la Team Cherry se sont isolés dans leur cocon. Et pendant 7 ans, ils ont pu créer un jeu vidéo à l'image de la soie : léger, doux, fort, qui va sans aucun doute résister à l'épreuve du temps.

Encore cette année, NBA 2K26 est un régal d'immersion pour tout fan de la ligue nord-américaine. Ultra-complet avec les ambiances et visuels de joueurs/gestuelles parfaitement retranscrits, les amateurs de gestion et de sensations manette en main se regaleront sur les modes hors-ligne comme Ma NBA, mon GM ou Mon Equipe. Ce dernier mode mélange les joueurs NBA et les joueuses de WNBA pour encore plus de possibilités d'équipes légendaires et de variété dans le titre. En revanche, le mode en ligne Ma Carrière divisera avec son gameplay pour la saison 1, réservé aux joueurs offensifs hardcore connaissant leur jauge de tir et de dunk par coeur, au détriment des défenseurs irréguliers au tir. Visual Concepts a réussi a être encore plus efficace cette année en laissant de côté les quêtes secondaires pour aller à l'essentiel et donner plus d'outils pour que les fans de création de joueurs et d'équipe s'amusen. Il ne manquera plus qu'un jeu moins quémandeur de monnaie virtuelle, 2K26 étant toujours diaboliquement pay-to-fast, pour s'approcher de la perfection dans le genre simulation de sport.

Cronos: The New Dawn n’est pas le chef-d’œuvre espéré, mais un jalon essentiel dans l’évolution de Bloober Team. Fustrant parfois, angoissant souvent, il incarne la volonté sincère d’un studio décidé à dépasser ses errements pour se forger une véritable identité, même si ses hommages restent trop visibles. Survival horror exigeant, lent et pesant, il ne cherche pas à séduire mais à oppresser. Une expérience surtout marquante par la maîtrise des codes d’un genre que ses artisans connaissent désormais sur le bout des doigts.

Cronos: The New Dawn è un altro centro pieno per Bloober Team. Non reinventa di certo la ruota, ma nel suo mix perfettamente riuscito di influenze, generi e ispirazioni, viene fuori un survival horror che cita i classici, ma sa anche dire la sua. Merito di un sistema di shooting che si dimostra all'altezza, del micromanaging di risorse sempre stimolante e di un'idea che lo caratterizza dall'inizio alla fine: non far fondere i nemici. Cronos è un videogioco politico, profondamente polacco, attuale nel saper trattare di una malattia spaventosa che ci ricorda fantasmi recenti. Ed è soprattutto un segnale importante per Bloober, perché ha tutti i presupposti per diventare un cult e un franchise che in futuro potrà brillare tra le stelle insieme a Dead Space, pur esplorando la quotidianità fratturata degli horror terrestri.

A pesar de sus defectos técnicos, de sus mejorables diálogos, de sus repetitivas misiones... a pesar de todo, Daemon X Machina Titanic Scion me ha logrado divertir con sus divertidos combates y sus opciones para convertirnos en una máquina de destrucción masiva, aunque está lejos de ser el juego de mechas que esperábamos.

Rather than trying to bring Sony's classic golfing series into the modern age, Bandai Namco has ensured Everybody's Golf Hot Shots feels like one of the older games in the series. That's certainly not a negative: it has a devoted fanbase for a reason, and the decision to stick with the three-press swing system and provide lots of single-player content results in a pleasantly authentic old-school Everybody's Golf experience.

Hot Shots ci ricorda cosa rende questo franchise sempre attuale, a ogni uscita: è un titolo di golf solare, colorato, a tratti strampalato ma anche tecnicamente e sportivamente corretto nella sua trasposizione, non eccessivamente tecnica ma nemmeno incoerente. Un contenitore di mondi apparentemente distanti, ma avvicinati da una realizzazione che rende giustizia al golf. Allo stesso tempo trasmette però tutto l'alone di giapponesità tipico della saga. Nulla di nuovo sotto il sole, o quasi se consideriamo la modalità stravagante: Hot Shots rimane con competenza su quel selciato, ben attento a ricalcare, talvolta con eccessiva prudenza e ridondanza, quell'approccio stilistico tipico, ma probabilmente un po' stanco, almeno per chi segue la serie da quasi 30 anni. Sicuramente aiuta il prezzo non pieno e un bel po' di cose da fare per chi avrà perizia di scavare a fondo questo turbinio di stravaganza.

Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots carries on the series traditions with solid courses, a robust character levelling system, and the appropriate level of silliness. However, the experience is uneven on Switch. Fans may enjoy it in short bursts, but technical issues and patchy presentation stop it from being the standout entry it could have been.
