With its substantially enhanced graphics and more flexible twin-stick control setup, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD is undoubtedly the definitive version of Luigi’s second apparition-filled adventure. If you’re a newcomer to the series – or perhaps you only came onboard with Luigi’s Mansion 3 and are working your way backwards – then there’s plenty of ghostbusting and puzzle-solving fun for you to find in Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD’s five haunted houses. However, if you’re a fan of the original Nintendo 3DS version and you were hoping for more dramatic gameplay changes or additions, then you may well be a touch disappointed. What’s more, playing this remaster in the wake of the third game may put its limitations in an unfavourable light. All told, though, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD is a great installment in Nintendo’s spectre-snaring series, even if it’s not the best one you can play on the Switch.

It’s easy to see why Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD stood out in its original form on the 3DS, and even today, there’s plenty of reason to like the green guy’s spooktacular sophomore outing. That said, limited efforts to update the original material, particularly some of the game’s more frustrating structural and design choices, makes this Mansion feel just a bit creaky.

Banana Rumble shows the value of adding a new spin on a tried-and-true formula. This series has wallowed in its past for a long time, so I’m glad to see the new Spin Dash mechanic propel it into new and exciting places. As far as Super Monkey Ball sequels go, this one is easily the top banana.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble es un buen paso adelante en la saga, con pocos cambios pero muy acertados: el movimiento Spin Dash enriquece la jugabilidad y su muy flexible dificultad garantiza desafíos endemoniados sin que nadie se frustre. Luigi's Mansion 2 HD is Luigi's Mansion 2 with a fancy HD lick of paint. Surprise! It looks great, and the new models, animations, and revamped visuals make for a game that's close to the glorious Luigi's Mansion 3 in how modern and swish it all is. It also controls much nicer thanks to the second stick on the Switch. It's just a shame we haven't got any added extras, then, any new means to save mid-mission, added content, or bonuses. This is 100% the best way to play the game as of 2024, there's no doubt, but it would have been nice to get something a little extra, especially given the price point. Maybe we'll get a Deluxe edition someday.

Puede que Luigi's Mansion 2 HD no esté al nivel de otras remasterizaciones y remakes como Metroid Prime Remastered o Paper Mario: La Puerta Milenaria, pero ni siquiera eso impide que siga siendo un clásico atemporal que merece la pena descubrir si no lo jugaste en Nintendo 3DS... o revivir, si ya lo hiciste.

In definitiva, Super Monkey Ball Banan Rumble è il classico gioco mordi e fuggi che darà ampie soddisfazioni soprattutto a chi ama giocare in multiplayer, che sia con amici a casa propria oppure online. Forse dedicarsi solo alla modalità per giocatore singolo non è sufficiente per godersi appieno l'esperienza, ma la quantità di stage e la vasta gamma di personalizzazione potrebbero soddisfare anche chi vuole cimentarsi soltanto nell'Avventura. Il punto forte della produzione è sicuramente il gameplay, che propone un mix tra semplicità, immediatezza e profondità capace di appagare sia i giocatori casual, sia chi cerca un grado di sfida più elevato.

Beyond Good & Evil: Edición 20º aniversario es un remaster que pocos pidieron, pero que ofrece buenas mejoras técnicas, añade nuevo contenido y nos acerca un poco más a Beyond Good & Evil 2. Si nunca has jugado debes darle una oportunidad y si lo hiciste, nunca está de más volver a disfrutarlo si eres fan de la saga.

GRAVEN GRAVEN, in definitiva, riesce a creare un mondo ricco ed immersivo che richiama un'epoca in cui le avventure dark fantasy in prima persona erano al loro massimo splendore. La combinazione di estetica retrò con un sistema di illuminazione ed effetti particellari moderni, combattimenti coinvolgenti (anche se leggermente ripetitivi nelle sessioni di gioco più lunghe), una buona varietà di nemici, enigmi ed esplorazioni ambientali, riescono ad offrire un'esperienza fresca ed immersiva quanto basta. Tuttavia, la narrazione di gioco, a tratti sconnessa, e alcuni enigmi un po' articolati oltre a piccoli problemi tecnici inficiano sull'esperienza complessiva. Killer Klowns from Outer Space The Game è un multiplayer asimmetrico online molto divertente, in cui tre clown assassini provenienti dallo spazio devono catturare sette ignari ragazzini. Il gameplay legato agli invasori spaziali è davvero soddisfacente, con una serie di gadget strampalati e letali; un po’ più sottotono, invece, appare quello degli umani. Se amate gli horror e i clown, questo potrebbe davvero essere il prodotto che attendevate da tutta la vita; noi, invece, attendiamo il pieno conseguimento del suo potenziale, il quale ad oggi necessita di qualche modalità di gioco in più, un numero leggermente più elevato di mappe e maggiore varietà nell’utilizzo degli umani. Illfonic, ti aspettiamo: perché Killer Klowns from Outer Space The Game ha davvero tanto potenziale.

Si vous cherchez un titre bourré d'énergie qui met la banane, pour vous régaler en solo ou à plusieurs, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble est tout indiqué. Avec sa mécanique bien huilée et malgré le faible apport de nouveauté, le titre est une énorme promesse de fun tenue sur toute la ligne. En s'appuyant allègrement sur ses racines d'arcade, il pète le feu, explose la rétine de ses couleurs chatoyantes, pour développer chez vous une forme d'addiction de la réussite du niveau vite-fait bien-fait, avec un acharnement démesuré sur des objectifs de complétiste que vous allez devenir à coup sûr. Gatcha gatcha !
