Si vous cherchez un titre bourré d'énergie qui met la banane, pour vous régaler en solo ou à plusieurs, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble est tout indiqué. Avec sa mécanique bien huilée et malgré le faible apport de nouveauté, le titre est une énorme promesse de fun tenue sur toute la ligne. En s'appuyant allègrement sur ses racines d'arcade, il pète le feu, explose la rétine de ses couleurs chatoyantes, pour développer chez vous une forme d'addiction de la réussite du niveau vite-fait bien-fait, avec un acharnement démesuré sur des objectifs de complétiste que vous allez devenir à coup sûr. Gatcha gatcha !

If all you're looking for in a new Super Monkey Ball game is a selection of new single-player levels to tackle, then you're in luck, because Banana Rumble boasts some of the best stages we've seen in recent memory. The additional 'Spin Dash' ability makes traversal a lot more fun, and the physics feel as close to 'classic' Monkey Ball as the franchise has got in quite some time. Unfortunately, if you're looking forward to the multiplayer modes, then temper your expectations. They're simply not very good for the most part and are significantly hampered by the drop in frame rate. We almost scored this a point lower, but the quality of the single-player just about pulls it up. As it stands, Banana Rumble is a mixed bag, but one worth delving into if you're itching for more single-player shenanigans.

Horror Tales: The Beggar has its moments (mainly thanks to some half-decent world building) but the introduction of combat, and its slow moving puzzles, underwhelmed me completely. Go and play The Wine instead, and hope we get more of that for the next outing.

Shadow of the Erdtree è un’espansione davvero colossale per contenuti, portata ed ambizioni. Il Regno delle Ombre racchiude al suo interno molte insidie, segreti e tante nuove storie, ognuna capace di donare ulteriore fascino e spessore alla fitta lore di Elden Ring. Se siete tra quegli amanti del genere che puntano ad avere un’esperienza di gioco spiccatamente hardcore, sappiate che l’espansione di FromSoftware punta ad accontentarvi con un livello di sfida estremamente appagante e boss fight memorabili. L’ottimo lavoro svolto sul level design poi va ad enfatizzare ulteriormente quel senso di scoperta che resta ad oggi il vero fulcro dell’esperienza proposta da Elden Ring. Insomma, se non avete ancora messo le mani sull’open world di FromSoftware, ora non avete davvero più scuse. Shadow of the Erdtree non solo è la migliore espansione realizzata dal team, ma anche una meravigliosa aggiunta che rende ad oggi ancor più unico ed irripetibile il viaggio nelle terre dell’Interregno.

Shadow of the Erdtree está a la altura de las expectativas. El mundo que propone está construido con el mismo mimo que las Tierras Intermedias, y está plagado de nuevas experiencias. Otro gran golpe en la mesa de FromSoftware demostrando su indiscutible talento haciendo videojuegos.

No me cabe duda de que Shadows of the Erdtree va a ser, sino el mejor, uno de los grandes DLC del año, e incluso de los últimos años, que podría compararse en contenido y calidad con el Blood & Wine de The Witcher, hablando más de una expansión que de un contenido descargable. Pero, incluso si esperabas que el resultado fuera bueno, creo que superará tus expectativas. El mundo está mejor diseñado. Es más intrincado, más retorcido, más vertical. Sus caminos se interconectan tanto como lo hacía en su medida el primer Dark Souls. Hay más chicha y menos grasa. Hay más variedad en menos espacio, lo que mejora mucho el ritmo de tus partidas. Eso sí, nunca pierde el espíritu del original, guardando siempre más secretos de los que parece a simple vista. Se nota que From ha aprendido unos cuantos trucos para el mundo abierto, sin olvidar añadir gran cantidad de mazmorras, y aunque la el hecho de llegar a él con niveles altos hace complicado equilibrar todas las partes, no quita que, en conjunto, este DLC sea un contenido indispensable.
