TIEBREAK TIEBREAK si presenta sul mercato con un roster eccellente ed un gameplay davvero solido. Peccato che poi alcune criticità, soprattutto in merito alla scarsezza di contenuti, non fanno altro che sottolineare come il gioco non fosse ancora pronto per uscire dallo stato di Early Access. TIEBREAK, oggi, è "solo" un gioco divertente che però potrà intrattenervi per poco tempo. Ad ogni modo la base è solida e se Big Ant Studios nei prossimi mesi riuscirà a completare il lavoro, la valutazione numerica a corredo di questa recensione potrebbe alzarsi anche di mezzo punto. Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess è, senza mezzi termini, una delle più piacevoli sorprese dell'anno. Allontanandosi dai blockbuster AAA ai quali ci ha abituato, Capcom non dimentica tuttavia il requisito dell'elevata qualità delle proprie proposte, stavolta sorprendendo con un ibrido tra action e tower defense che omaggia con orgoglio alcuni potenti aspetti culturali della terra del Sol Levante. Ludicamente stratificato, artisticamente fuori parametro e contenutisticamente generoso, la missione della sacerdotessa Yoshiro e del guardiano Soh è una rara delizia da assaporare. Non tutto è perfetto e sussistono alcune sbavature, sia chiaro. Ma esattamente come vuole la tradizione giapponese del Wabi-sabi, a volte occorre non solo ad accettare l'imperfezione, ma a trovare in essa la bellezza delle piccole cose. Mika and the Witch's Mountain presents the story of an apprentice witch who goes through ups and downs with small townsfolk. The gameplay is nice, the graphics fit the theme well, and the characters are likable.

Liefhebbers van cozy games mogen Mika and the Witch’s Mountain niet missen. Ondanks de korte lengte en het feit dat de NPC’s wat oppervlakkig aanvoelen, is de game haar inspiratie op Kiki’s Delivery Service waardig. Of je nu met zeemeeuwen over de zee vliegt, pakketjes bezorgt of collectibles zoekt, Mika and the Witch’s Mountain is perfect om een lange, stressvolle dag mee af te sluiten. Door de lage moeilijkheidsgraad is de game ook zeer geschikt voor de wat jongere gamer.

Odd Meter a pris des risques avec Indika et a réussi à nous séduire par ces derniers. Une direction artistique comme nous en avons rarement vu, une ambiance étrange et glaçante. Nous avons commencé le jeu avec de nombreuses questions, par soif de réponses, et nous en sortons avec tout autant de questions, mais un cheminement, une réflexion exceptionnelle. Une expérience assez marquante qu’il est facile de recommander aux joueurs les plus curieux ou à la recherche d’un jeu à concept.

Mika and the Witch’s Mountain supone otro gran éxito para el creciente universo de Chibig. Una aventura de exploración con toques de plataformeo y un fuerte énfasis narrativo que engancha y además te deja el corazón bien calentito. Ir descubriendo las historias de los habitantes de la isla, ayudarnos con nuestros repartos y al mismo tiempo disfrutar del viaje hace que el juego lance un embrujo que nos atrape hasta el final. Lástima que ese final llegue demasiado pronto. El juego está pulido a más no poder y es súper bonito, pero claramente le falta más contenido. Acabará llegando en los próximos meses mediante actualizaciones gratuitas, pero esta falta de «chicha» junto a la abrupta conclusión de una de las tramas, dejan cierto mal sabor de boca. Así que, si no os importa que el juego se pase «en un pispás» y queréis una adorable aventura sin presión alguna, donde volar y disfrutar del placer del volar, Mika and the Witch’s Mountain os va a conquistar. Pero igual esperar un poco a Mika termine de repartir todo el contenido no es mala idea.

La sensación general es que aquí había muy buenas ideas y no todas se han aprovechado del mismo modo. INDIKA tiene momentos brillantes, una sátira muy certera, escenas memorables y diálogos potentes, aportando un todo que consigue resonar en la mente del jugador bastante tiempo después de llegar a los créditos del final. Es una propuesta que merece ser experimentada, pero que se queda a medio camino de la excelencia, a la que le faltaba cierto refinamiento en lo jugable. Podría haberse aprovechado muchísimo más, empezando por ese sistema de puntos y terminando con los puzles que ya hemos visto otras veces y que aquí no destacan.

Techniquement à peaufiner, mais grâce à son univers aussi beau que rafraîchissant et à un gameplay aussi exigeant qu'il est réjouissant, Black Myth : Wukong marque assurément les esprits. Dans le bon sens.

After the first hour, I was sure finishing Dustborn would be up there with folding laundry in terms of chores – but just a few hours later and I was invested in the welfare of all my little freaky friends as they played gigs, fought robots, and had sometimes melodramatic conversations. Its band of well-intentioned weirdos tells an absorbing story in an alternate-history America, and while I may have started by rolling my eyes, I was high on science fiction satisfaction and wondering if I was too old to get a neck tattoo and some neon accessories by the end.

Dustborn grabs the generic modern day adventure game formula and adds a bunch of cliché and often annoying characters, a subpar story, some low-grade music, along with a heavy-handed dose of politics front and center, resulting in a middling and overlong road trip that's more concerned about its poorly delivered message than anything else.

Black Myth Wukong si è rivelato un'esperienza ben al di sopra delle nostre aspettative e riesce incredibilmente ad esserlo pur presentando tutti i difetti che ci aspettavamo a causa dalla scarsa esperienza del team di sviluppo e della parziale immaturità dell'ecosistema dello sviluppo cinese. Questo è un gioco che più che mai rappresenta il suo mercato: è imponente, impressionante, a tratti eccezionale, ma al contempo si concentra troppo sull'impatto tecnico e sugli elementi macroscopici, tralasciando dettagli importanti e cadendo in ingenuità che non ci si aspetterebbe da un team con tali capacità tecniche. Resta un action estremamente variegato e divertente, con qualità uniche e alcuni momenti altissimi. Siamo lontani dal capolavoro, ma non dubitiamo che farà parlare di sé e, se questo è l'inizio della storia dei Game Science, non vediamo l'ora di scoprire cosa combineranno in futuro.
