Goodbye Deponia est une magnifique conclusion à la trilogie Deponia. Il reprend tous les ingrédients du succès du premier épisode à savoir l'humour, une très bonne bande son et de somptueux tableaux dessinés à la main. Goodbye Deponia se voit en plus doté d'une intrigue plus prenante et d'énigmes moins tirées par les cheveux. Un vrai régal pour tous et pour le coup, accessible à tous.

Même Rocksteady, ultra respecté pour ses jeux solo, n'aura pas réussi à faire un bon jeu coop/service à quatre joueurs. Pourquoi ne pas en avoir fait un vrai jeu solo du coup, avec des missions originales et variées ? Alors que toujours chez Warner, Hogwarts Legacy : L'Héritage de Poudlard a cartonné l'an dernier ? C'est dommage, surtout après l'échec retentissant de Marvel's Avengers, dont il reprend les mêmes défauts bien connus : ennemis génériques, objectifs ultra répétitifs, IA basique et durée de vie trop courte. Les objectifs ressemblent tous à des missions d'entraînement, avec ces vagues d'ennemis identiques à l'IA basique, qui se téléportent devant vous sans fin. En une dizaine d'heures, vous aurez fait le tour de toutes les situations de combat que le jeu peut vous offrir, de ses missions de protection trop longues et de ses combats de boss à la fois tardifs et mal équilibrés. Sans parler des problèmes de matchmaking qui vous obligent souvent à jouer avec un seul autre joueur, pas toujours expérimenté, même avec le crossplay activé. Restent des cinématiques somptueuses, une réalisation solide et d'excellentes sensations de jeu, pour ceux qui passeront outre ces nombreux défauts.

The Inquisitor fumbles what could have been the premiere mystery game of 2024. Despite the strong setting and cast, the mystery rapidly unravels into nothing but noise, and the gameplay is bereft of difficulty. The never-ending stream of bugs means that whatever joy you can find in the game will most certainly be derailed.

Risk of Rain Returns shines thanks to a fantastic roster of classes, sublimely chaotic gameplay, and fever-dream like presentation. When firing on all cylinders, it's rare for a game to make the player feel as powerful as this one does, even if some runs take a little too long to get going.

I rolled credits in a little under nine hours, which felt like the perfect length for a game like Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior. Its unique approach to combat brings together the best of the action and puzzle genres, giving it a strong foundation for fun. For those who really dig it, Sand Door Studio offers a lot more for you to chew on. But the generally weak story likely won’t stick with me, and the dull approach to collectibles and exploration makes the overall pacing feel just a little bit off. It’s the kind of game that demos perfectly; if the gameplay loop feels great for you, the full game is absolutely worth your time.
