The visuals are amazing, the game is simple and it has a heart, that I can say about Minecraft Legends. There are things that could’ve been done better and it’s not as complex as the Civilization games – or any strategy game for that matter – but Mojang and Blackbird Interactive get my respect for venturing off into the unknown and finding a treasure like this.

Minecraft Legends est une excellente porte d'entrée dans le genre RTS pour les jeunes joueurs ou ceux qui n'ont jamais pu toucher un jeu de stratégie de leur vie. Pour les autres par contre, vieux roublards du genre ou tout simplement joueurs avides de réflexion et de tactique, le titre est une petite déception avec un manque cruel de stratégie. L'action prend la forme de spam d'une seule et même touche (coup d'épée) et la stratégie manque de profondeur. Malgré tout nous avons tout de même passé un bon moment grâce à l'usage intelligent de l'univers Minecraft.

Minecraft Legends is an engaging strategy game that does a great job streamlining a notoriously complex genre without sacrificing the ever-important element of choice and consequence. That said, some genre staples like assigning custom groups of units are casualties of this simplification, which is too bad because it does limit your strategic options a bit in the heat of battle. But Legends uses other recognizable elements like its worker unit Allays to great effect, and it nails the iconic Minecraft aesthetic with some of the best looking blocks around. The difficulty curve does have the potential to make the late game frustrating, but stellar cooperative and PVP play still make this RTS very worthwhile.

God of Rock è riuscito in un'impresa impossibile ovvero combinare un picchiaduro con Guitar Hero. Il gameplay stupisce, diverte e, passata la confusione iniziale, offre un mondo di possibilità con una curva di apprendimento gentile ma da non sottovalutare. I personaggi, però, non riescono a diversificarsi abbastanza tra loro nello stile di gioco, soprattutto nelle prime ore, serve molto tempo per cogliere le sottigliezze di ciascuno. Le partite online ci sono ma non sono popolatissime e il sistema che regola quelle classificate ha bisogno di un'aggiustata perché abbiamo trovato solo partite molto sbilanciate. Il potenziale c'è per quanto riguarda il divertimento sia di chi gioca sia di chi guarda ma se God of Rock vuole ritagliarsi uno spazio nel mondo dei picchiaduro con ambizioni competitive dovrà fare di più per differenziare lo stile di ciascun eroe e dare alla community dei più dediti obiettivi ambiziosi e un circuito di eventi online regolari. Se invece siete alla ricerca di un gioco per una serata spensierata a base di rock, allora questo titolo, grazie alla sua facilissima meccanica musicale, è un'alternativa scatenata e accessibile a Guitar Hero che vi farà divertire a lungo.

God of Rock cerca di unire rhythm game e picchiaduro in un'unica esperienza, ma fallisce clamorosamente nel suo intento. Seguire le note da premere impedisce di godersi l'azione di lotta e di intervenire sensatamente in essa, con il gioco che finisce per essere un rhythm game basilare, in cui la vittoria (o la sconfitta) arrivano quasi per caso, senza che il giocatore se ne accorga. La desolante mancanza di contenuti serve solamente a dare il colpo finale ad un gioco che, purtroppo, già di suo aveva ben poco da dire.

On the track, Disney Speedstorm is a fantastic karting game with great handling and a host of unique features to set it aside from generic Mario Kart clones. It's very much a live service game at its core, though, so players not willing to put in the time (or the money) may not find it compatible with their gaming habits.
