The Last Worker The Last Worker è un prodotto complesso da interpretare. Da un lato, l'estro creativo è palpabile, grazie all'intervento degli importanti nomi coinvolti nella direzione artistica, nella sceneggiatura e nel doppiaggio. Anche il particolare equilibrio ludico proposto dal team di sviluppo è intrigante e piuttosto originale. Dall'altro lato tuttavia, la sensazione è che Oiffy, Wolf & Wood Interactive abbia voluto fare forse troppo in rapporto ai mezzi disponibili. Non depone completamente a favore della produzione la sua volontà di parlare contemporaneamente al pubblico VR e a quello tradizionale, finendo per dover essere valutato come un prodotto a metà strada tra due mondi. Come titolo VR, il titolo ha indubbie qualità e può essere sicuramente consigliato come un'ottima esperienza immersiva. Viceversa, come produzione tradizionale, The Last Worker si perde in un sistema di controllo a tratti impreciso, in meccaniche ludiche semplicistiche e in una longevità piuttosto modesta. Il consiglio è comunque di dargli una possibilità: l'epopea di Kurt potrebbe lasciarvi un segno. The Last Worker ist haarscharf keine mangelhafte Thema-Verfehlung geworden, eine bessere Zensur als „ausreichend“ kann ich aber leider nicht vergeben. Ich finde den Grafikstil mit Comic-Touch weder hochwertig noch irgendwie charmant und konnte aus den vielen Dialogen kaum Amusement ziehen. Viele Gags zünden nicht und die Geschichte trudelt uninspiriert aus, statt mich ernstlich zu packen oder betroffen zu machen. In puncto trostlose Arbeitswelt oder Kapitalismus-Dystopie war das 2020er Spiel Mosaic deutlich mehr auf den Punkt. Die einzelnen Spielmechaniken funktionieren zwar (ohne groß zu begeistern) – am Ärgerlichsten aber finde ich, wie ungelenk sie miteinander verwoben sind. Das Pacing des Abenteuers ist lausig: Dialoge gehen holprig in den Arbeitstag über, kleine Ladepausen nagen an einem flüssigen Erleben der Geschichte, plötzliche und nicht erklärte Ortswechsel verhindern, dass man das Gefühl hat, in einer Sinn ergebenden Spielwelt zu stecken. Als schnell vergessener Mix aus Lieferspiel und Schleicheinlagen geht The Last Worker in Ordnung, die Kombination aus unbefriedigender Story und zähem Spielfluss führt jedoch dazu, dass ich vom Erwerb abraten muss.

Lancer une partie de karting avec un dino aux commandes est relativement incongru. Le titre défend une posture ultra accessible, directe et sans complexité pour toucher des joueurs n'ayant pas encore plongé dans l'univers chromé de Mario. Et ça fonctionne. Malgré quelques petites pétouilles d'interface, le jeu remplit son objectif sans sortie de piste.

Vernal Edge è un buon metroidvania con una storia intrigante, anche se non molto originale, delle meccaniche di esplorazione e combattimento molto solide e un sistema di progressione innovativo che vi farà navigare tra le isole di un arcipelago fluttuante a bordo di un galeone volante. I richiami estetici a Laputa - Castello nel Cielo di Miyazaki sono tantissimi e se siete fan del film e della sua atmosfera amerete questo gioco. Le funzioni simili a quelle di Hollow Knight potrebbero essere un po' troppe agli occhi di alcuni ma noi non le abbiamo trovate lesive dell'originalità dell'opera con cui abbiamo passato più di 20 ore. La colonna sonora stellare mescolata all'ambientazione retrofuturistica fanno di Vernal Edge un'esperienza che gli amanti dei metroidvania non possono perdersi soprattutto se siete alla ricerca di un titolo con profonde possibilità di personalizzazione dell'equipaggiamento e una narrativa di crescita personale e scoperta di un passato e una tecnologia perduti. Aspettando Silksong, quest'avventura vi terrà piacevolmente impegnati.

Reencontrarme con Anno 1800, esta vez en consolas, me ha recordado por qué durante mucho tiempo estuve totalmente enamorado de este juego de estrategia. Es uno de los mejores de la historia por lo bien que conecta todos sus sistemas para que realmente sientas que estás construyendo de la nada un gran imperio ultramarino. Visualmente cautivador, con una banda sonora que hipnotiza, y montones de opciones de gestión, es todo un gustazo enfrentarse a los retos que propone el juego de Blue Bytes, esta vez con un mando en las manos.

Se cercate qualcosa di simile a PayDay 2 come esperienza shooting da giocare in un’ambientazione metropolitana in stile GTA e con qualche condimento gestionale, Crime Boss: Rockay City potrebbe regalarvi qualche timida soddisfazione, soprattutto nella modalità Urban Legends, un’efficace via di mezzo tra la campagna in singolo e le partite veloci di Crime Time. Spiace però che l’esperienza da sparatutto non dica granché e che la trovata (più mediatica che altro) delle “vecchie glorie” hollywoodiane funzioni solo in parte, anche per colpa di un comparto grafico e di un doppiaggio sotto tono. In co-op, Crime Boss: Rockay City riesce a regalare qualche soddisfazione in più, mentre in singolo non si va oltre la sufficienza, soprattutto a causa di evidenti limiti a livello di IA, ripetitività delle missioni, stealth poco funzionale e gestione delle armi.

MLB The Show 23 doesn't reinvent the genre, but the franchise continues to stand as one of the best on the market. The gameplay is fantastic across all phases of the sport, and the line-up of modes has been improved thanks to the addition of Storylines. There is still room for improvement, but The Show remains a contender for best sports title of the year.

After a somewhat disappointing 2022, it’s amazing how far forward Sony San Diego has pushed MLB The Show 23. It seems like every element has received attention, whether its the improved scouting in the Franchise mode, updates to match the current MLB rulebook, or a vastly more helpful practice mode. This remains a gorgeous showcase for baseball, with some of the most lifelike sights and sounds to behold in a sports game. It remains to be seen if Sets and Seasons in Diamond Dynasty will frustrate in the long run, but the crowning achievement this year is the Negro Leagues mode. This playable piece of baseball history is a triumph, presented with care, grace, and attention to detail. It’s courageous and bold, like the pioneers it highlights, and it’s astonishing to experience something so affecting from a baseball game. If for nothing else, that alone makes MLB The Show 23 a must-play.

The makers of MLB The Show 23 clearly heard the complaints about a lack of fresh features in recent entries, as this year’s game offers up the new exciting and enlightening Storylines mode as well as significant tweaks and improvements to Franchise, March to October, and Diamond Dynasty. A lack of innovation when it comes to core gameplay keeps this year’s title from being a true home run, but it’s at least a strong double.

Terra Nil est une véritable petite bombe indépendante. Un jeu profondément apaisant et relaxant mais surtout intelligent. Difficile de passer à coté tellement il permet de vivre une expérience assez hors norme dans le domaine du jeu de gestion. Son seul problème est finalement sa trop faible rejouabilité et son manque de contenus.
