Se cercate qualcosa di simile a PayDay 2 come esperienza shooting da giocare in un’ambientazione metropolitana in stile GTA e con qualche condimento gestionale, Crime Boss: Rockay City potrebbe regalarvi qualche timida soddisfazione, soprattutto nella modalità Urban Legends, un’efficace via di mezzo tra la campagna in singolo e le partite veloci di Crime Time. Spiace però che l’esperienza da sparatutto non dica granché e che la trovata (più mediatica che altro) delle “vecchie glorie” hollywoodiane funzioni solo in parte, anche per colpa di un comparto grafico e di un doppiaggio sotto tono. In co-op, Crime Boss: Rockay City riesce a regalare qualche soddisfazione in più, mentre in singolo non si va oltre la sufficienza, soprattutto a causa di evidenti limiti a livello di IA, ripetitività delle missioni, stealth poco funzionale e gestione delle armi.

MLB The Show 23 doesn't reinvent the genre, but the franchise continues to stand as one of the best on the market. The gameplay is fantastic across all phases of the sport, and the line-up of modes has been improved thanks to the addition of Storylines. There is still room for improvement, but The Show remains a contender for best sports title of the year.

MLB The Show 23 In conclusione, MLB The Show 23 è un altro episodio di qualità nella fortunata serie Sony. Il gameplay rivisto e rifinito, le nuove modalità di gioco (la Negro Leagues vale da sola il prezzo del biglietto) e il roster ufficiale della stagione rappresentano un must per tutti i fan del baseball e della serie. Nonostante alcune imperfezioni nel comparto multiplayer, MLB The Show 23 offre un mix perfetto di simulazione e arcade che appassionerà tutti gli amanti dello sport americano. Pur confermandosi come la miglior simulazione di baseball del pianeta, MLB The Show 23 continua a manifestare lo stesso problema da diversi anni: il comparto grafico. La next-gen sembra essere un miraggio per SDS che continua a riproporre lo stesso motore datato. Può andar bene per PlayStation 4, Xbox One e Nintendo Switch ma su PlayStation 5 e Xbox Series X/S (disponibile su Game Pass) è lecito aspettarsi di più. Mentre sul fronte gameplay a lasciare perplessi è la mancata implementazione delle nuove regole della MLB, sul piano contenutistico World Baseball Classic e The Negro League sono due ottime aggiunte.

The makers of MLB The Show 23 clearly heard the complaints about a lack of fresh features in recent entries, as this year’s game offers up the new exciting and enlightening Storylines mode as well as significant tweaks and improvements to Franchise, March to October, and Diamond Dynasty. A lack of innovation when it comes to core gameplay keeps this year’s title from being a true home run, but it’s at least a strong double.

MLB The Show 23 is a better all-round package than last year's outing, thanks in large part to the new Storylines mode that adds a well-presented and educational history lesson for players to get involved in. In terms of this Switch port, presentation is perfectly acceptable, with the expected graphical downgrades made, but the frame rate can still be troublesome in places, making for play that feels sluggish in comparison to other platforms. This issue aside, though, this is a solid port that brings all the modes found in other versions of the game, making for a decent overall option for MLB fans.

MLB The Show 23 si conferma essere il miglior titolo simulativo in circolazione per quanto riguarda il baseball. Tantissime opzioni per adattare il gameplay in base alle proprie esigenze e svariate modalità per soddisfare ogni palato. Gran bell’aggiunta la nuova storyline della Negro League, che consente di conoscere un importante fetta della storia di questo sport finora poco considerata. Il fronte tecnico si conferma solido come da tradizione, ma l’età comincia a farsi sentire, assieme a delle crescenti esigenze di rinnovamento. Staremo a vedere cosa ci riserverà in futuro il capace team di San Diego Studio!

Terra Nil is a strategy game that's devoid of land colonisation, the exploitation of natural resources, or anything else you'd usually associate with a game of this ilk. But it's all the better for it. If you want a tranquil terraforming game, this is a good fit.

Crime Boss Rockay City è una produzione con diverse criticità, sia sul fronte prettamente tecnico che in merito alla varietà situazionale offerta dal pacchetto. Al netto di questi difetti però, il titolo Ingame Studios riesce nell’obiettivo di incarnare lo spirito del filone cinematografico a cui è ispirato, complici anche gli attori noti nel suo cast. La componente gestionale funziona, le scenette comiche non mancano e il piombo vola in ogni dove. Il voto che vedete è da considerarsi un punto di partenza per un'opera pensata per espandersi nel tempo. Se gli sviluppatori manterranno la promessa di pubblicare nuovi contenuti gratuiti e limeranno alcune problematiche, l’opera prima dello studio con sede a Brno potrebbe ritagliarsi un piccolo spazio nel panorama videoludico, forte anche del suo costo accessibile.

Terra Nil est une véritable petite bombe indépendante. Un jeu profondément apaisant et relaxant mais surtout intelligent. Difficile de passer à coté tellement il permet de vivre une expérience assez hors norme dans le domaine du jeu de gestion. Son seul problème est finalement sa trop faible rejouabilité et son manque de contenus.

Malgré quelques bugs et des combats parfois peu lisibles, Tchia propose une aventure véritablement rafraichissante, auréolée de musiques typiques impeccables et d’un récit savamment construit et en proie à quelques instants d’émotions. L’île d’Uma et ses sublimes panoramas constituent un parfait terrain de jeu pour les innombrables possibilités offertes. En bref, une ode à la liberté qui constitue une très bonne entrée en matière pour le studio Awaceb et qui traduit d’un cumul de bonnes idées : on a déjà hâte de pouvoir poser les mains sur leur prochain projet !
