Già in fase di preview Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon mi aveva convinto e quelle sensazioni positive si sono ora confermate per l’intero gioco. Questo mix di enigmi, esplorazione e combattimenti immerso in un’atmosfera da favola dark sfrutta infatti bene l’elemento cooperativo, è piacevole dall’inizio alla fine (nonostante una partenza un po’ lenta), è graficamente ispirato e, nonostante qualche limite nei controlli e nella gestione della telecamera, è adatto a tutti, anche grazie alla possibilità di eliminare del tutto i danni subiti nei combattimenti. Certo, i debiti con Zelda e con tutto il filone degli action-puzzle “stilosi” non sono pochi, ma avercene di spin-off di questo livello.

The Wreck réussit là où un Life is Strange avait pu en laisser certains de marbre en conciliant les meilleurs angles du cinéma et du jeu vidéo narratif. Le scenario et l’écriture sont tout aussi qualitatifs que pour un très bon film, mais l’immersion apportée par le fait d’avoir la manette en mains nous fait vivre encore plus intensément l’expérience que Florian et Coralie Maurin nous proposent de découvrir. C’est avec tact et retenue, tant dans ses propos que par ses graphismes et sa direction artistique que The Pixel Hunt nous entraine à la découverte du véritable parcours de résilience, toute en nuance de Junon, sa mère et sa famille.

The Pixel Hunt tape encore une fois là où cela fait mal, avec une expérience narrative unique, douloureuse, mais touchante. Une expérience narrative pas comme les autres, qui vous retournera, vous fera réfléchir, et c’est sa grande force. Difficile une nouvelle fois de parler d’un jeu comme The Wreck tant le ressenti sera personnel de bout en bout. Le comparer même avec les autres titres du studio ne serait à aucun moment pertinent car au final, ce sera bien la sensibilité des personnes qui fera que le titre nous marquera ou non.

Riguadagnata un anno fa la carreggiata dopo quella brutta gita fuori pista, il WWE di 2K tenta l'accelerata, riuscendo in quasi tutto quello che cerca di fare. Lo stile di gioco è più tecnico, il combat system più profondo, il roster ampio e la grafica migliore. Ci sono ancora un po' di cosucce da limare, ma la strada davanti è ora tutta dritta.

Mato Anomalies es un RPG que intenta hacer suya la fórmula de Persona 5, pero sale perdiendo en la comparación. Su combate y su ambientación tiene buenas ideas, pero le cuesta muchísimo hacerlas brillar. No es que haga nada demasiado mal, pero tampoco cuenta con nada especial por lo que recomendarlo. Aún así, sabe ser entretenido si le das una oportunidad. Sus peleas acaban convenciendo aunque les falte algo de finura.

2K and Visual Concepts continue to show commitment to this franchise in WWE 2K23 by making necessary gameplay changes and additions to an already-strong core that was established last year. WWE 2K23 then pushes the graphical fidelity forward to the point that it possibly surpasses its NBA 2K counterpart in the grand spectrum of things. The big help coming with cleaning up previous nuisances with the gameplay are a big help while making MyGM and MyRISE deeper will be much appreciated by the community. The Wargames match is going to be popular as everything about it works and the match itself is extremely fun. The new design for Showcase Mode is also a success, but the biggest improvements come in the technical depart of WWE 2K23. While some modes are left lacking, the others that saw more options are great and nothing needed to be sacrificed along the way.

After a tumultuous few years of WWE releases, 2K and Visual concepts have finally been able to begin building on the solid foundations of last year’s game. WWE 2K23 isn’t a huge step up from 2K22 with long load times and a surprisingly unpolished Showcase Mode for John Cena, but the series has still shown growth, considering War Games is pure chaos and MyRise is much improved. The future is once again bright for WWE and 2K, and so WWE 2K23 should be celebrated by fans as though they’ve just won their first world championship.

WWE 2K23 stumbles slightly with occasional glitches and a mode or two that doesn't quite hit the mark, but it ends strong with stellar gameplay, a captivating MyRise/GM Mode one-two punch, and a brutal, chaotic inclusion of WarGames that simply says, "Acknowledge Me."
