L’ultimo capitolo dell’epopea venatoria di Capcom torna sul mercato con un nuovo port che ribadisce i meriti di una ricetta ludica ricca e appagante, al centro di un’edizione confezionata con perizia per assecondare le esigenze dell’utenza PS5. Ad una anno dall’approdo dell’opera su PC, il team propone una conversione che conserva buona parte delle opzioni grafiche presenti nella versione da scrivania, per offrire alla platea un’esperienza da personalizzare in base alle proprie preferenze, muovendosi con una certa libertà tra gli estremi definiti dai classici preset. Una rotta produttiva che conferma le qualità dell’ottimo RE Engine, alla base di una proposta che anche sull’ammiraglia di Sony non manca di offrire grandi soddisfazioni, malgrado i limiti fisiologici di questo tipo di produzioni. It’s no small feat that Fire Emblem Engage is able to tell a simple-but-fun story that celebrates the vast history of its series in a way that doesn’t rely on prior knowledge of that legacy. Building the perfect team of diverse characters and pairing them with the Emblem Rings of past heroes allows for tons of customization and strategy, and blasting through the enemy ranks with their special powers is always immensely satisfying. Both its main and side missions provide a good deal of challenge, and clever twists and obstacles offset a reliance on overly familiar mission objectives. Couple all that with a suite of quality-of-life improvements that immediately feel vital and Fire Emblem Engage proves itself worthy enough to be counted alongside the legacy it honors so well.

Tras una entrega rupturista, vuelven al enfoque clásico sin dejar de presentar novedades que aderezan y hacen, si cabe, aún más interesante su gran sistema de combate. Un parada obligada para los amantes del género.

Conocido como uno de los conceptos más difíciles de definir, la vida podría ser descrita como toda forma de existencia que suponga un ciclo de nacimiento, desarrollo, reproducción y muerte. En el caso del ser humano, la discusión sobre qué es la vida y cuál es su importancia se vuelve más compleja al ser este el único ser vivo que puede reflexionar sobre fenómenos abstractos e incomprensible. Podríamos decir que la importancia de la vida reside en el don que uno recibe al nacer y que se transforma en aquello que nos permite, en definitiva, existir. Y en Persona 3 Portable entra en cuestión la idea de cómo cuidar y proteger esa vida en un mundo con una suerte de desesperación obstinada y sin remedio. Nos enseña la importancia del sentido de la vida.

A Space for the Unbound is a strong sci-fi title with clever gameplay that meshes point-and-click mechanics, stealth, QTEs, and visual novel aspects together wonderfully. It may not be particularly challenging, but its hard-hitting story makes it worth playing through if you can handle the subject material. If you don’t suffer from mental illness, I feel like this also helps shed some light on these topics that could be beneficial for understanding how hard it is to live with these illnesses. A Space for the Unbound is an incredibly important game that is also fun to play. It’s worth every penny and every second of your time. Les années 90 sont encore capables de nous surprendre par la qualité de certains jeux apparus alors et dont on ignorait parfois l’existence. Derrière sa piètre inspiration artistique et la faiblesse de son casting Breakers Collection délivre une expérience baston 2D de très bonne facture. On prend un grand plaisir à jouer et on est bien aidé en cela par la grande qualité du portage proposé par Qbyte. C’est très propre, sans faille et bien augmenté sur le volet des modes de jeu, notamment côté online où Breakers Collection semble avoir les épaules assez larges pour se faire une place auprès de la communauté. En somme une bien belle surprise.
