Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion es más que una remasterización, sí, pero sólo en algunos apartados. En otros, sigue siendo el mismo juego de PSP... Con todo lo bueno y lo malo que ello conlleva. Eso no quita que esta sea la mejor versión para descubrir la historia de Zack... o para reencontrarse con un viejo amigo.

A cavallo tra rimasterizzazione in HD e rifacimento integrale, Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion è una riedizione di spessore che mantiene inalterata la pregevole componente narrativa dell’originale, oggi più che mai essenziale per comprendere appieno la sempre più complessa mitologia della settima fantasia finale. Intervenendo sulla fluidità del combat system e rimaneggiando persino il famigerato sistema OMD, Square Enix è riuscita a svecchiare e migliorare un impianto ludico ancora valido. Per il rovescio della medaglia, però, il restauro grafico è riuscito solo in parte, in quanto i paesaggi e i modelli poligonali dei personaggi secondari avrebbero necessitato di ritocchi di ben altra entità. In attesa che anche Final Fantasy VII Rebirth raggiunga la rampa di lancio, Crisis Core rappresenta comunque una tappa obbligatoria per i fan della saga, forse anche più di quanto non lo fosse quindici anni or sono.

High On Life combines sloppy shooter action with Justin Roiland and all of his pals being incredibly annoying. You're either going to love it or hate it, really, so it's lucky this one's hitting Game Pass so you can check it out and decide for yourselves. Personally, this reviewer hated the humour, there's something very off and deeply troubling at the heart of where this game is coming from, it feels as though it's looking down, sneering and hateful. But that's the comedy style it's going for so we guess we need to relax, bro. Some people are going to eat this stuff up, regardless of what we think, so it's a shame that it ties this sneering attitude to bland gameplay, tired puzzles, dumb AI and a world that just isn't fun to explore or inhabit in any way. Dude. That is harsh.

A colourful, silly and deliberately over-the-top first person shooter, with severely undercooked gunplay and a sense of humour that will test the patience of even Rick and Morty fans.

High on Life is an irreverent, absurd shooter that manages to shine with its outrageous humor, silly setting and story, and some really goofy, foul-mouthed guns that pull the whole thing together for the vast majority of the time. Combat is a bit sloppy, especially during the first act, and the whole sci-fi adventure sometimes has an unpolished feel to it, but once you get some new tools of destruction and movement options, it rises to the occasion. Not all of its jokes find their punchline, but with memorable boss fights, unique alt-fire abilities and exploration, and way more terrible movies to watch than I expected, this wacky journey is definitely worth your time.

High on Life ne va pas réinventer la formule des FPS, mais son côté déjanté, comique et trash apporte un véritable vent de fraicheur. J’ai pris plaisir à dézinguer nombreux ennemis, rencontrer les boss et parcourir ce titre qui reste très agréable à regarder, de plus même si les dialogues peuvent parfois être longs, ils sont toujours entrecoupés de réplique ou scènes qui cassent et relance le rythme. Et bon sang qu’il est plaisant de revoir un titre qui ne fait pas dans le politiquement correct en mettant un humour bien crade en avant. Un dernier point, il existe une fin alternative et vue la tournure, un second opus pourrait voir le jour, ce n’est pas pour me déplaire. Attendez, mais étiez vous au courant ? L'amélioration graphique opérée sur ce remaster est plus qu'appréciable, mais ne suffit pas, seule, à cautionner un tel prix vis-à-vis d'un titre pourtant bourré de qualités. Dommage.

If you're a fan of beat em up games and the first River City game you'll most likely enjoy River City Girls 2 and all if not, you will still enjoy the game if you can ignore its few annoyances.
