Catan- Console Edition does a decent job at adapting the game into a digital format, offering a high-definition sheen to the tabletop classic. Expect a serviceable base game that’s elevated when facing off again humans. Given the lack of any campaign or unlockables, playing against CPU-controlled opponents might give you a case of island fever.

Chef Life : A Restaurant Simulator ne révolutionne pas le genre du cooking simulator mais fait de son mieux pour proposer une expérience agréable, orientée vers une cuisine gastronomique à base de produits locaux. Malheureusement, le tout est plombé par une technique datée ; les animations sont fades (quand elles ne sont pas inexistantes) et les déplacements d’une lenteur excessive. Finalement, Chef Life s’adresse avant tout aux passionnés de cuisine à la recherche d’une simulation réaliste et que l’aspect répétitif de la vie de restaurateur ne fera pas fuir.

Breakers Collection is a colourful pixelated 2D fighter that has only four attack buttons to use so it's good for players looking for a brawler that is more simple than other fighting games out there. The second game offers online crossplay for people looking to take on other players around the world, though sometimes it’s hard to find matches to play in.

After the Fall è in definitiva uno sparatutto co-op divertente e dal gunplay molto solido, penalizzato sul lungo tragitto da una generale penuria di varietà. Al netto di un ritmo sostenuto, che ammicca ai classici light gun shooter da sala giochi, il titolo di Vertigo Games può risultare godibile anche per i giocatori più sensibili alla motion sickness, grazie alle numerose opzioni disponibili per il comfort. La Complete Edition tirata a lucido per PSVR 2 può beneficiare inoltre degli upgrade tecnici del visore, a partire dall'eccezionale feedback aptico dei Sense controller che riesce a restiuire un feeling ancora più viscerale all'uso delle armi. Avendo un focus incentrato sul multiplayer, il ciclo di vita del gioco dipenderà in larga misura dal supporto post-lancio e dall'affluenza di utenti sui server, che speriamo che grazie al cross play possa mantenersi buona, almeno nel medio termine. Se vi siete mai chiesti come sarebbe giocare in realtà virtuale a un emulo di Left 4 Dead, After the Fall è semplicemente la scelta giusta.

Atomic Heart aurait pu être un excellent jeu s’il ne payait pas l’inexpérience de ses développeurs. Car avec ses nombreuses qualités, dont son histoire, sa direction artistique et certains éléments de gameplay bien ficelés, le titre de Mundfish a tout pour plaire. Seulement voilà, entre son monde semi-ouvert avec de bonnes idées inexploitées, quelques écueils dans sa jouabilité ou bien des longueurs insupportables dans son écriture parfois ampoulée, Atomic Heart ne parvient jamais à se hisser au niveau d’un Bioshock. Il y arrive quelquefois, avec un certain flow intéressant dans les affrontements, ses puzzles diversifiés, son système de craft voire sa bande-son qui déchire, mais ce n’est pas assez. Par contre, on ne lui enlèvera pas le fait qu’il soit beau comme un cœur atomique, tout en déchirant sur son sound design. En somme, Atomic Heart demeure une expérience sympathique à faire, ne serait-ce que pour découvrir une URSS alternative bourrée de références à de grands jeux comme Bioshock ou Fallout, qui ont clairement influencé le studio russe dans sa conception.

Le grand retour de Company of Heroes est réussi mais n'est pas aussi grandiose que ce que l'on avait espéré. La prometteuse campagne solo est en fait un pétard mouillé sans aucun challenge et globalement la partie graphique est un échec avec un jeu qui manque cruellement de définition. Heureusement la coopération et le multijoueur viennent faire oublier les défauts et on retrouve très vite le coté jouissif d'une bonne vieille bataille en temps réel.

Exactly what fans of the series have come to expect, whilst still providing one or two interesting deviations in gameplay along the way, Like A Dragon: Ishin! fuses familiar traits with a delightfully-versatile combat system to great effect. Those worried that a game both spin-off in nature and far-flung from the series’ present day roots would feel too isolated should take comfort from the fact this year’s remake of a pre-0 entrant remains quintessentially Yakuza in all the right ways. And while the take on style-switching, combo-chasing combat this time round is admittedly imperfect and far from the most fluid system to engage with, some occasional scuffs and rough edges aren’t enough to deter Like A Dragon: Ishin! from coming away as one more worthwhile and thoroughly-entertaining spin-off in the Yakuza series.
