Had Akatsuki Rising presented players with a more enjoyable, more intuitive combat engine, I might have been able to forgive the fact that we're seeing the same story arc we've seen before. But even with an interesting item system and solid Ad Hoc multiplayer, the unintuitive lock-on system, mixed with an overly simple counter system, make Akatsuki Rising a mediocre game at best. Sorry Naruto fans -- this is not the hit PSP game you're looking for.

If you like RPGs, Half-Minute Hero is a refreshing take that mixes in all the quirks the genre is known for, and if you've never been into RPGs, it's light enough for any noob to get behind and enjoy; plus, there are a bunch of other gameplay types to get behind the controls of. I think there's a stumble here in presentation and there in clarity, but none of that detracts from making this a great portable game that PSP owners should seriously give a shot.

La mediocridad es la palabra más recurrente a la hora de describir Star Wars The Clone Wars: Héroes de la República. Demasiado simple para los adultos, demasiado pobre y con un control tremendamente impreciso para los más pequeños de la casa… Una aburrida y repetitiva oportunidad perdida.

Très classique dans son concept comme dans sa réalisation, cet épisode inédit d'Harvest Moon ne tire pas suffisamment parti des spécificités de la Wii. Les innovations proposées ne sont pas à la hauteur des attentes des fans et les mini-jeux sont bâclés. Toutefois, ceux qui n'ont jamais eu l'occasion de planter des salades sur leur console pourront sans trop d'hésitations se laisser tenter par ce jeu de gestion aux mécanismes bien huilés.

Derrière son petit côté mignonnet et coloré, Mini Ninjas est finalement un titre relativement riche qui plaira non seulement aux plus jeunes, mais aussi aux adultes qui ont su conserver un peu de leur âme d'enfant.

Come molti prima di lui anche Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising soffre per via della sua stessa miglior caratteristica: l’ambizione. In ognuna delle migliori feature implementate dal team si nasconde anche un altrettanto importante problema, rendendo la produzione, in linea di massima, soltanto un FPS al di sopra della media. La vastità dell’ambientazione (completamente in streaming) nasconde la “fatica” di missioni esageratamente lunghe, specie se prive di possibilità di salvataggio ed una realizzazione tecnica, tutto sommato, mezzo passo indietro rispetto allo standard. Le complesse routine dell’IA nascondono alcuni comportamenti assurdi, da una parte e dall’altra e così via, per ogni micro-aspetto della produzione. Non nascondiamo che l’appassionato, colui che cerca la simulazione ad ogni costo, si troverà di fronte probabilmente (quasi) al massimo realizzabile su una console. La produzione Codemasters, però, non è sinceramente divertente (nel senso stretto del termine), semmai appare impegnativa e, alla lunga, appagante. Per chi è fan della simulazione senza mezze misure, per chi vede il videogioco come saltuario passatempo o come puro divertimento, Dragon Rising rimane un buon FPS tra i tanti, sicuramente da provare senza l’impegno di un acquisto al day one.
