There is a good detective story buried somewhere here, but it's hindered by archaic gameplay, and terrible pacing. If you're a huge fan of Agatha Christie's work, or if you're the type of gamer that misses the old days of random item collecting and nonsensical puzzle solving, this might be a game worth checking out, but anyone else is going to want to pass this one by.

A trop vouloir manger à tous les râteliers, Sonic s'embourbe dans une diversité de genres qui ne lui sied guère. Très réussi au niveau visuel, malgré une fluidité perfectible sur cette version PS3, et surtout expurgé de bon nombre des problèmes de jouabilité qui entachaient l'épisode précédent, Sonic Unleashed se montre beaucoup moins convaincant sur le plan du gameplay. Phases de jour impressionnantes mais courtes et peu interactives, phases de nuit hors de propos et vite redondantes : le constat est sévère. Pourtant, force est de constater qu'on s'y amuse, et que si Unleashed est un Sonic plus que moyen, cela reste un titre beaucoup plus recommandable que ne l'était l'opus précédent. La série est donc sur la bonne voie, mais beaucoup de travail reste à accomplir pour lui permettre de retrouver ses lettres de noblesse.

Plattchen is an odd game, pure and simple. The core mechanic is essentially a mash-up of gravity-based puzzle games, Bejeweled or Othello, IR pointer control, and rotation-based color selection, but with so many strange rules, modes, and options the game is both amazingly robust and also completely random at the same time. Some modes require players to saw back and forth with the Wii-mote to flip tiles – it doesn't feel very good – the main twist-based mechanic is a great concept, but some gamers will be instantly turned off at how odd and somewhat uncomfortable hand positions need to be to play it right. Random aspects like shooter elements and a very unique, but also challenging, scoring system make this one a game that only adventurous players will drop 1,000 points for and try to get into, but like me, you may find yourself finding a pretty entertaining game and some great (but strange) concepts buried within this very unconventional WiiWare offering. Download at your own risk, but if you're looking for something truly original, and don't mind taking a gamble, Plattchen is certainly a one-of-a-kind offering.

World of Goo nous offre une véritable leçon de game design, de créativité, en un mot d'art. De quoi rappeler aux plus blasés d'entre nous pourquoi nous aimons les jeux vidéo. Il y a encore de l'espoir dans ce monde formaté, ça fait du bien. Que dire de plus, sinon merci 2D Boy ?

We definitely applaud Hermitworks for taking a chance at reviving this genre. We rarely see these types of trading games done on this scale, and it's our hope that this effort inspires developers to marry some of the same gameplay concepts with a more modern style of presentation. But judging Space Trader purely on its own merits, it's the repetitive gameplay, the thin narrative and the dated shooter mechanics that keep us from offering more than the most half-hearted recommendations. Space Trader's two saving graces are the scarcity of games of this type and the incredible asking price of ten bucks. Even so, your time and money are better spent seeking out the old classics of the genre.

Crash Commando is a really fun multiplayer-focused title that should appeal to pretty much anyone with a pulse. I wish there were more modes included with the shipping version, and I think the sniper rifle will prove to be a little unbalanced, but what's there is an extremely addictive experience that will serve you well during the coldest part of the year.

It almost feels like PopStar Guitar is an entry in some type of "who can make the worst music game" contest. There is no tutorial, it's ugly as sin, and the track list is made up of only the most banal pop groups around. Sure, it's aimed at kids, but kids deserve better.

AC/DC Live: Rock Band Track Pack a conti fatti non offre nulla di così interessante forse nemmeno per i fan più sfegatati degli AC/DC. Impossibilità di personalizzare il rocker, mancanza di modalità online, estrema povertà della modalità Tour ed un sistema di reward quasi nullo lo rendono infatti null'altro se non una -nemmeno troppo riuscita- operazione commerciale. Forse solo la presenza nel package del codice per utilizzare le 18 canzoni su Rock Band e Rock Band 2, alla luce dei 39.99€ da sborsare e del costo di una singola canzone sullo store moltiplicato poi per 18, rende appena ponderabile l'acquisto. Bocciata su tutta la linea, in ogni caso, l'idea dell'edizione stand alone.
