NBA Live 09 combines lackluster gameplay, lackluster graphics and a lackluster contingent of mini-games to form, you guessed it – a lackluster basketball game. To put it simply, this game should only be played on a dare. If you’re looking for an enjoyable basketball offering on the PSP, skip right past NBA Live 09 and pick up NBA 09 The Inside, which is a more enjoyable game in just about every regard.

Overall, if you're into football, management, and the year 2008, this comes highly recommended. If you owned FM07 then a little more consideration needs to be taken into account. There is little new to get excited about, but if you can't live without football then you won't be disappointed with this purchase. While there is always going to be much frustration with a game of this type, there is much fun and ultimately an addiction to be had. The definitive database of clubs, player's et al, along with the accumulative experience of the series makes this the most accomplished football management game on the market.

Even if your not a fan you’ve defiantly heard of Indiana Jones, cracking his whip and defeating the bad guys just to get the treasure. For those that are fans of the films then this will be a real treat as "LEGO: Indiana Jones – The Original Adventures" puts you in the driving seat.

Fallout 3 is the biggest accomplishment in adventure gaming since Oblivion. It’s incredible how fun and deep this game is. Everything in the game, from the graphics to the sound, is very well done. With a ton a quests and a huge world to explore, Fallout 3 will keep you busy until the next Bethesda release.

After juggling the pros and cons of the game from one hand to the other, I find I'm still ambivalent about it. I depend on a game's fiction to make me finish it and Exodus from the Earth nearly scared me away upon install. I mean, let's face it; the sci-fi, end-of-the-world thing has been used almost as often as Michael Jackson's prosthetic nose, and just like that nose, every time it's applied, it just looks worse. With its solid game design undermined by a cliché story, mediocre graphics and poor localization, Exodus from the Earth is a study in failed potential. The last two-thirds of the game may contain some interesting ideas and good gameplay but many gamers may never see that, having been put off by the shabbily-handled beginning. Let's hope Parallax Art Studio has the opportunity after this to offer us a better title.

ut you might be better off looking for the sequel to show up instead of diving into Earthworm Jim's underground world with this first release. Earthworm Jim 2 is a more solid experience on the gameplay side of things, while retaining the positive visual aspects of this original -- this first Earthworm Jim is pretty and likely to stir up nostalgia for many, but just doesn't handle well enough to really be a fun game to play. Invest your 800 Wii Points with caution, because your memories of Earthworm Jim as a character and cartoon hero might be making you think this first game adventure was better than it is.

Der dritte Auftritt von Staranwalt Phoenix Wright bietet zwar fünf neue Fälle, die aber alle nach dem altbekannten Schema ablaufen. Dieses Mal sind es nicht nur Mordfälle und ihr erfahrt auch mal etwas über die Vorgeschichte, aber wirklich vom Hocker reißt das nicht. Obwohl ihr gelegentlich Spezialfunktionen und Psychotricks einsetzt, erstarren die Fälle fast in Routine, da sie im Grunde immer ähnlich sind. Es geschieht ein Verbrechen, ihr untersucht per Touchscreen den Tatort, sammelt Beweisstücke ein und verhört Zeugen. Wenn es reicht, kommt es zum Prozess, wo ihr die Verteidigung übernehmt. Ihr nehmt die Zeugen auseinander und versucht, Widersprüche zu finden. Läuft alles glatt, wird euer Mandant freigesprochen. Bis dahin dauert es, denn es gibt viele Wendungen und neue Leute treten auf, die Phoenix teils schon aus früheren Abenteuern kennt. Dennoch hat vieles seine Längen, ist nicht immer zu durchschauen und läuft linear ab. Zu tun gibt es recht wenig, da ihr halt ein paar Mal aufs Knöpfchen drückt bzw. den Stylus betätigt. Der Reiz der neuen Fälle verfliegt recht schnell. Gerade Jurastudenten seien gewarnt, da das Spiel keine rechtlichen Kniffe serviert. So wendet sich Trials and Tribulations in erster Linie an DS-Anwälte, die schon früher mit der Ace Attorney-Serie glücklich geworden sind.

Crash has had one bumpy ride on the Nintendo DS, and I had high hopes that last year's Crash of the Titans would lead to bigger and better things for the character. But Vivendi/Activision seriously dropped the ball on this one -- last year's great outing was apparently a one time thing, and we're back to a crummy addition to the once big and popular franchise.
