Colorato, divertente, variegato nei temi e nella struttura dei livelli, sfrutta l'hardware dell'attuale generazione per riproporci un classico del passato senza privarlo della sua anima originale.

Train Life - A Railway Simulator is duidelijk een game dat gemaakt is door en voor treinliefhebbers. Heb je niets met treinen? Dan zul je geen geduld hebben met de tutorials en de lange ritten tussen je start- en eindpunt. Ook het gebrek aan een verhaal zal de meeste gamers maar wat doelloos laten rondrijden. Maar heb je een passie voor treinen, dan weet je precies wat er van je verwacht wordt. De eerder kleine minpunten zijn snel vergeven wanneer je voor het eerst achter het dashboard kruipt en de machtige locomotief opstart. Train Life doet wat het belooft en levert een uitstekende treinsimulatie. Misschien kan de NMBS hier nog wat van leren.

Yars: Recharged seem suited for sporadic play when you only have about fifteen minutes and don’t want to engross yourself in anything deeper. Across the last few weeks, I’d play in intermittent sessions, that are longer than most arcade-style sessions but shorter than most story-driven titles. At ten dollars, it’s a no-brainer for fans of the property and the best follow-up in forty years. But given the bugs in Yar’s Return and the disgrace known as Yar’s Revenge, that’s a low hurdle to clear.
