The Cube Controller is better left alone, reserved for those later Zelda games made specifically for it. Those later Zelda games that were really all just knock-offs of this title, A Link to the Past, the first and only true game ever developed in the series. It's been said that most of our world's storytellers really only have one story to tell. If they find success with it, if they find an audience, then they're finished. Any sequels, any follow-ups will all be unoriginal, as the storyteller can do little more than repeat what they've already said, retelling the tale already told, in new, slightly different ways. You should play The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past – the series has had little new to say since.

UEFA is an interesting and worthwhile addition to EA's growing library of soccer titles, thanks to its interesting mix of unique modes, its quick-moving, fast-paced game, and its fun feel and solid controls. The PSP connectivity adds another layer depth, as you can port your season back and forth between systems. You might find better FIFA games on the market, but for a last-gen effort UEFA retains that feeling of fun and playability that is actually a little better than its Xbox 360 brethren.

From what we’ve played of Blazing Angels previous to the Wii version, the franchise simply has room to grow across the board. Mix in quickly-ported flight control with PS2 graphics (plus a few stronger blur effects), an otherwise solid presentation of the World War II era, and you’ve got a game that had a ton of potential, but just didn’t execute well. The missions aren’t extremely varied in their design, as you’ll mostly be shooting and bombing the closest target or flying to on-screen waypoints, but solid control goes a long way, and it’s a double-edged sword when it doesn’t execute well. There’s definite potential for a Wii flight game, and Blazing Angels is a solid candidate, but it’ll take a true Wii sequel to make it work, rather than a fast fix to a previously-released game; especially when the starting point was passable at best on other consoles.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 is a great deal of fun. True Aiming means that you'll have to play more like a real golfer - gone are the days where you can pin-point a shot again and again. Though last year's next-gen game felt light on features, Tiger 07 brings up back up to bar with only a slight handicap on its scorecard. If you're a golf fan, pick this one up on launch day

What World Snooker Championship 2007 does exceptionally well is make the potentially tricky sport of snooker accessible and enjoyable for those who've never even touched a cue. With its intuitive controls, it enables beginners get to grips with potting a few balls, while skilled snooker players can pull off more complex techniques like spin. However, no matter how accessible the gameplay may be, visually it's atrocious and the frame rate is all over the place. As a snooker simulation there's no faulting World Snooker Championship 2007's gameplay but, if you're expecting it to show off your PS3's graphical grunt, you've got more chance of getting a 147 break with your eyes closed.

Darwin is actually much better than its box would lead you to believe. When you figure out how you're actually supposed to play the game, it becomes a reasonably enjoyable action/puzzle game that would be especially good for younger players. It won't win any beauty pageants (or settle debates about evolution), but you can do worse for $20.

Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII didn't change much in its transition to the PS3. It did, however, add a few new missions and planes, as well as a rewarding multiplayer mode not included in previous versions. Also, while the Sixaxis functionality offers an alternate control method, it doesn't really improve the game very much. It's fun to use for a while, but when it comes to accuracy, players will likely opt for the analog sticks.

The game is ridiculously addictive. Even after coming in 22nd place you'll still want to try again. It's easy to get frustrated by the game's seemingly intense desire on making you suffer terribly, but lying underneath rests a truly enjoyable racing game, that proves video games don't need to have flashy graphics or complex AI to actually be fun. Sure, there are other racing games out there today, hundreds of them. This one may not necessarily be better than the recent stuff, but it's unique, addictive, and demonstrates what gaming is really about.

It's its stylishness that makes Beyond Oasis a hit. It's not a timeless classic, and it could have used a bit more polish in several areas, but it is a solid representation of 16-bit era action-RPGs. Does Beyond Oasis deserve to be mentioned alongside such classics as Secret of Mana? Sure! Check it out, genre fans, you'll be surprised.
