In all, Karaoke Revolution Party is the finest and most fun karaoke game on any console and even rivals many PC-based karaoke programs. In other games, you sing. In this game, you sing and the computer tells you how much you blow. If only Britney Spears had this much input. Downloadable content adds to the replay value and you'll find that even the uptight girl in the corner with a glass of merlot is going to enjoy herself at your karaoke party when Sweet Caroline hits the airwaves. Good times never seemed so good.

So...2004's game of the year on IGN comes to Xbox, and though it's a year old, it's still an amazing, beautifully crafted, and must-have Xbox title. What's there not to like about it? It is one year old. if you played it on PC, then you have already experienced this game. The high resolution graphics fade a bit on Xbox, but the game is nonetheless beautiful compared to any Xbox game. And the control is not quite as pixel-perfect as the PC version is, but Valve has done a superb job of balancing the controls and making Half-life 2 feel smooth and loveable on Xbox. Having said all that, if you don't have a billion dollar PC set-up and you're itching for this fall's knockout title? Um, yeah: Half-Life 2 is it. Get it, own it, and you will be a happy, enriched person. If you haven't played the PC version, then there really isn't much to say except get it. The story itself is worthy of great praise, but the way it's implemented into the gameplay, along with amazingly fresh missions that all blend into one another, make this easily one of the best games on Xbox this year, if not the best.

GripShift half succeeds at what it sets out to do. It certainly includes elements from all four genres it says on the box, but it’s the implementation of said genres that decides whether a game succeeds or not. While GripShift does in fact offer varied, unique and entertaining gameplay, it feels like these genres never really gel together as well as they should. Still, it’s fun once you get used to the idea. Plus, the mini-games, track editor and multiplayer tracks help establish GripShift as a solid title. Rent it if you’re uncertain.

Ford vs. Chevy brings to mind the Bud Bowl, the old football contest between Budweiser and Bud Light to determine just which one is the better beer. Of course, it's a moot point because both beers are crap. It's the same here as only hardcore Ford and Chevy nuts will enjoy racing the mundane list of cars, while the rest of us will salivate at the sublime offerings of superb racers like Project Gotham Racing 3. Of course, for only $14.99, Ford vs. Chevy is decent little bargain and will give you a few hours of Chevy Cobalt racing pleasure. Then again, you could wash your truck, buy a 40 of Mickey's and have a large order of grits at Waffle House for less. Choose wisely.

80 Days does away with the static backgrounds and pixel hunting that characterized old school adventure games and replaces them with an interactive 3D environment. Unfortunately, the puzzles are focused a little too much on running errands and less on using your brain. You'll find a lot of personality (and not a little humor) as you make your way through the game but the only thing that's really being challenged here is you patience.

Battlefront II on PSP mirrors its console brethren in terms of complexity and scope but can’t keep up in performance. So while every vehicle, unit and weapon is at your disposal, you’ll need to contend with an unstable framerate and lackluster visuals while you take over the galaxy. Still, the game feels very polished in areas, especially the interface and quality of the soundtrack and sound effects. So even though it’s fun and definitely worthwhile, it just feels as though Battlefront II asks too much of the PSP.

And that’s the main problem with the Bible Game. There’s not enough biblical depth to warrant a purchase from religious folk, yet the mini-games aren’t that engaging, either. It all feels somewhat hokey as well; almost as though you’re playing a game that Ned Flanders would buy for his kids. But if you’re looking for a collection of non-violent mini-games that kids will enjoy then you could definitely do worse, especially considering the 20 dollar price tag. Plus, there’s a nice collection of Christian tunes from contemporary artists, so fans of these bands will definitely take notice.

This year's March Madness is better than last year's effort and the franchise is definitely moving in the right direction where it's truly a college basketball title and not a re-skinned, stripped down NBA title. The Lockdown Stick is a feature that doesn't seem like a big deal at first, but adds whole new dimension of authenticity to the game, especially when playing head to head. Nobody plays defense in the NBA so you wouldn't need a Lockdown Stick in Live, but that and the Senior Leadership feature make this more of a college hoops game than it has been in the past. Even with the same shortcoming as it's pro hoops big brother, MM06 is worth a look for diehard fans of college sports.

Blitz: The League is a game perfect for people who like shiny boxes without really caring what's inside. The game uses profanity, cheerleaders shaking their ass, and broken bones to distract you from the lackluster AI playing out before your eyes... and it almost works. The thing is, the more you play Blitz, the more the flaws overtake your senses, and the jokes just aren't that funny anymore. Definitely worth a rent to check out, but in the end, your money is better spent just buying Playmakers on DVD.

Rebel Raiders isn't exactly what flight fans are looking for in terms of a must have purchase. The aerial action is okay, but you're really missing out on a lot of mission pacing, replay value and even challenge with this easily completed game. Unless you're a hardcore fan simply looking to acquire every single flight title out there (it is only 20 bucks, after all), you probably should look elsewhere for your air combat.

The Nintendo DS game is very much like the Game Boy Advance, which is definitely not a bad thing by any means because the original game is a highly addictive and recommended experience. That also affects its impact because it doesn't offer anything entirely new or unique, only enhancing what we've already experience twice before. Even with that said the game offers an amazing series on single and multiplayer challenges and retains some of the most engrossing turn-based action on the Nintendo DS system. Don't miss this one.

Throwing in an extra button could have easily become just a gimmick, but Pump It Up: Exceed is far from that. The different layout allows for some new and more diverse dancing patterns that work better in creating more appropriate choreographies. The result is a game that includes more of the sense of movement into the game, similar to that of playing a DDR game or In the Groove with two dance pads, but without the hassle of setting up an even larger dance space. With the variety in the huge song selection there's a lot of dancing to love here. It's still just a shame that the presentation and design of everything around the dancing still needs some work.
