Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation demonstrates why the property is overwhelmingly popular Japan. Turning the conventional tale of cataclysm into a spirited dating simulation proves to be an exceedingly ingenious idea. Across the collection three novel and supplementals, co-developers Compile Heart and Sting take the concept and push it in a multitude of different ways, offering everything from existential examination to slapstick comedy without ever seeming incongruous. Credit should also be given to Tsunako, who delivers a drip-feed of gorgeous character art.

Lethal League Blaze is an excellent game for the competitive crowd, but it’s a bit hard to recommend on the Switch over other versions. The eccentric character designs, great soundtrack, and blazing-fast gameplay are charming, but the performance issues and online gripes means this version falls short from being a masterpiece

Sans grande surprise, Beyond Two Souls est un portage honorable. Plus fin, plus fluide, il s'agit ni plus ni moins qu'un copier-coller de la mouture PS4 avec l'option deux joueurs (l'un contrôle Jodie, l'autre Aiden) et la possibilité de rejouer les séquences dans l'ordre chronologique. Et au final, c'est déjà pas mal car ça va permettre à de nombreuses personnes de découvrir la suite du catalogue de Quantic Dream. Prochaine destination : Detroit : Become Human !

In Sky, sebbene sia possibile affrontare gran parte del viaggio da soli, non interagire con gli altri vuol dire rinunciare a una fetta importante dell'esperienza. L'ultima opera di Thatgamecompany è costruita attorno alla sua componente sociale, e il rapporto tra le persone è legato tanto ai sistemi di gioco quanto alla trama e al suo sottotesto. Sky prova a volare altissimo ma viene trascinato verso il basso da controlli spesso scomodi e da frequenti rallentamenti dovuti in buona parte all'hardware su cui ha debuttato. In attesa di una conversione su PC e console, questo piccolo e imperfetto gioiellino resta uno dei giochi più originali, affascinanti e artisticamente ricercati mai pubblicati su piattaforme mobile, e solo per le emozioni che riesce a regalare merita il vostro tempo.
