Complexe et particulièrement complet, Super Dragon Ball Heroes : World Mission peinera néanmoins à convaincre les moins patients et ceux qui dédaignent le fan service facile. Parce que bien qu’il s’agisse d’un jeu de stratégie plutôt bien fichu, malheureusement plombé par une quantité incroyable d’actions contextuelles, le cœur de son contenu n’est là que pour caresser les amoureux de l’œuvre de Toriyama dans le sens du poil. On le conseillera donc aux plus gros acharnés qui se ruent habituellement sur tout ce qui porte le nom Dragon Ball, plutôt qu’aux simples fans désireux de se lancer dans un jeu de stratégie.

Katana Zero is a game that I loved playing, but I walked away from it with some major reservations. On top of its tight, excellent swordplay, fun time-shifting powers, and pitch-perfect soundtrack, Katana Zero packs some interesting storytelling tricks that I wasn’t expecting. On the other hand, it uses its innovative structure to tell a story rife with ill-conceived takes on disturbing subject matter without a content warning in sight. Katana Zero is an extraordinarily fun experience for the few hours it lasts, but the bad taste it left in my mouth lingered much longer.

Forager demonstrates the importance of anchoring players in the world. It has great content, but that's hidden away behind random chance and hours of grinding. The idle-like mechanics are irritating at best, but the dungeon crawling and the puzzles come into their own. I only wish the rest of the game lived up to the excitement of finding a dungeon.

El port de Cuphead a Nintendo Switch es, simplemente, brillante: retiene todo lo bueno de la versión de Xbox One, no sacrifica calidad visual y sobre todo, mantiene la dificultad y todo lo que le hizo un juego especial. Además, añade pequeñas mejoras (selección de personaje, traducción al castellano...) que redondean un título de por sí soberbio.

Cuphead es un magnífico videojuego. Y eso es algo que no vamos a descubrir ahora pero que sí lo volveremos a resaltar las veces que sean necesarias. Porque lo merece y porque es de justicia hacerlo. Su llegada a Nintendo Switch supone la vuelta al candelero videojueguil de estos dos hermanos con cabeza de taza que, en un mal día, deciden vender su alma al diablo. Los poseedores de la híbrida de Nintendo está de muy enhorabuena con un port que roza la excelencia. Precisamente Nintendo Switch no es que sea una máquina huérfana de juegos de plataformas puesto que en su catálogo cuenta con brillantes exponentes del género. No obstante, Cuphead llega para darle aún más relumbrón a dicho catálogo. Una aventura que rebosa calidad y buen hacer. Plataformas, saltos, disparos, locura, personajes y jefazos con un carisma brutal se unen para firmar una obra de arte. Y el broche de oro lo ponen un diseño artístico y visual que será recordado durante generaciones y una de las bandas sonoras más completas que recordamos. Sea por su hermoso apartado visual, sea por su impecable jugabilidad, sea porque queréis un reto. Da igual el motivo, Cuphead no puede faltar en vuestra colección.

Cuphead è uno dei titoli più divertenti, particolari e carismatici degli ultimi tempi: ad un anno e mezzo di distanza dalla sua prima pubblicazione su PC ed Xbox One resta un acquisto imprescindibile per quasi tutte le tipologie di videogiocatori. Più che un gioco in sé è quasi un'esperienza, che almeno una volta nella vita va vissuta con scrupolo religioso. Nintendo Switch accoglie la produzione di Studio MDHR in modo naturale, come se tutto fosse stato meticolosamente predisposto dal destino: la conversione è eccellente, il comparto tecnico brillante, la traduzione in lingua italiana a tratti esaltante. Tutto questo costa appena 19,90 euro, in un mondo, quello videoludico, che ci ha insegnato come molto meno venga proposto a cifre a volte triplicate. Cuphead e Mugman aspettano il vostro aiuto, per affrontare il demonio ancora una volta. Buona fortuna.

Anno 1800 is a grind at times, but those moments of “eureka” when I’d figure out production rhythms and layouts that kept me operating in the green were delightful. It toes a difficult line of welcoming strategy gaming novices while also providing gameplay that experienced tacticians can maximize, with a well-crafted story-based campaign adding on to an already tried-and-true sandbox formula. It’s a beautiful game to look at as well with only one minor issue that you have to really focus in on to see. Outright newcomers to this type of game will have a tough go at it, as important elements of Anno 1800 aren’t given comprehensive tutorials, but diligent gamers will excitedly watch hours fly by once they get settled in.

La valutazione complessiva di Cuphead per Switch non può che risultare identica in tutto e per tutto a quella delle versioni per Xbox One e PC. Il gioco è lo stesso, con qualche piccolo aggiornamento, e funziona senza il minimo inciampo. Per occhi e orecchie rimane un Golia tra tanti Davide e poterci giocare ovunque, anche con un amico, è una bella comodità. Rimangono, però, anche i limiti già conosciuti, in primis (ma non solo) un livello di difficoltà che si bea troppo della sua crudeltà. Chi non ha problemi a riguardo, troverà ad attenderlo uno sparatutto di ottimo livello con un grande vestito.
