We. The Revolution est un titre intelligent, complet et recommandable, parvenant à mêler différents types de gameplay, comme s'il se trouvait à la croisée de Papers Please, d'Orwell et de Beholder. Si la prise de risque était élevée, il s'en tire de très belle manière grâce à une narration et une pression de tout instant. Dépeignant une Révolution sombre mais réaliste, dans laquelle se confrontent aspirations libertaires et enjeux politiques, la production va plus loin que beaucoup de titres du genre, et s'avère être un très bon jeu d'enquête et de stratégie politique. On regrettera seulement la légère prépondérance des jauges, ainsi qu'un léger manque de contextualisation et de lisibilité, des points l'empêchant de franchir les portes de l'excellence.

The shooting and looting of The Division 2 each are strong enough on their own that a lackluster story and proliferation of glitches aren't enough to sour this trip to America's capital for a bit of R&R in the Dark Zone.

With One Piece: World Seeker it feels like we are finally getting higher quality licensed anime games, but it still has a way to go to be truly incredible or essential, even for fans of the series. Still, if you want to run and rocket with Luffy and the crew, this is a great place to do so.

Death is one of many constants players have come to expect from a From Software title alongside a well-designed world, a gameplay loop that rewards risk and experimentation, and a fair challenge. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice mostly checks these boxes while delivering a new take on the traditional formula. While not original, Sekiro’s story provides greater context through its pre-defined protagonist and his motivations. The game is faster to focus on offense, but still retains that addicting gameplay loop players expect. Sekiro is difficult, perhaps unfairly so at specific times. The gameplay is overall satisfying, though there are moments where it’s unclear what can and can’t be deflected or dodged, making for an experience that feels more unfair than any Souls game or Bloodborne. Set against the backdrop of a gorgeous Japanese aesthetic, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice combines what makes a From Software title special into an excellent, solid package that fans are going to love. Death may be a constant in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, but it’s worth getting up each time.

The Princess Guide est à la hauteur d’une bonne partie des productions de Nippon Ichi Software : efficace, bien pensé, mais répétitif. Le jeu n’arrive au final jamais à décoller véritablement, mais restera un bon jeu de transition entre deux autres grosses productions.

Generation Zero vanta senza dubbio un'ambientazione affascinante, resa molto bene nei suoi panorami e nelle sue atmosfere dall'Apex Engine. Una mappa enorme, che però mostra il fianco a soluzioni eccessivamente generiche quando gli edifici cominciano a ripresentare lo stesso design, e soprattutto risulta tediosa da attraversare a piedi: gli spazi da coprire sono troppo ampi e dunque la noia arriva inevitabile, sia che si giochi da soli o in un gruppo di quattro persone. I combattimenti delle prime ore sono in verità banali, anche se prendere troppo alla leggera i robot quadrupedi può mettere nei guai. Solo con l'arrivo di ulteriori tipologie di nemici, tuttavia, acquista un senso utilizzare determinati oggetti oltre alle armi convenzionali, anche se spesso e volentieri qualche glitch e un'intelligenza artificiale lacunosa finiscono per mandare tutto in malora.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is good overall with some shortcomings. The story seems as though they could have gone much deeper and made it into a complex political sci-fi opus, but instead has just enough of a plot to explain what is happening. Getting through the main campaign to unlock the end game can get to be grindfest, but things can get interesting when the Black Turk faction does invade. It really depends on what the player is looking to get out of this game. Some who want a deeply-engaging story for a memorable solo gaming experience may feel let down, but someone who wants competitive and team-based gun battles could easily get several dozen or maybe even hundreds of hours of enjoyment from this title. The RPG elements allow players to make their characters truly their own and allows the freedom to build within their preferred playstyle.

Quite honestly, The Division 2 feels like a watershed moment for the loot-shooter sub-genre. Its mechanics are solid, its performance is great (aside from some minor glitches and bugs), and its content is bountiful. These things make it a rarity in the genre, an outlier from games that launch half-finished and limping from patch to patch and DLC to DLC. The Division 2 is the new gold standard for games-as-a-service – D.C. really is lovely at this time of year.
