Une histoire riche, profonde et intéressente. Un gameplay plein de bonnes idées. Une bande sonore très agréable à l’écoute. Mais un gameplay qui dans son exécution est raté, d’un autre âge et lourd. Graphiquement, faire un retour de plusieurs années en arrière n’offre pas à coup sûr la nostalgie. Une expérience unique, effectivement, mais que nous préférerons oublier.

Questo Metro Exodus ci ha stupiti in modo estremamente positivo, con colpi di scena e cambi di ambientazione da applausi. La cura nei dettagli fisici di gioco, animazioni e illuminazione, oltre ad una sperimentazione più open world per la serie, hanno reso il tutto molto gradevole. Tanto da passare sopra i difetti di intelligenza artificiale e doppiaggio non proprio al top. Un acquisto obbligato, particolarmente per chi ha letto i libri o giocato ai precedenti capitoli.

La recensione di The Division 2 non ci coglie di sorpresa, confermando quanto sapevamo da tempo grazie ai numerosi contatti avuti col gioco fino alla sua uscita. Per chi ha apprezzato il primo capitolo si tratta esattamente di quanto atteso: un gioco completo in ogni suo aspetto, dove la continuità del "more of the same" viene confortata da quello che appare come un ragionamento intelligente su ogni elemento modificato o aggiunto rispetto al primo capitolo. Considerate le somiglianze col gioco di tre anni fa e l'appartenenza al genere dei looter shooter è più che probabile che The Division 2 non piaccia a tutti, ma la fatica di Massive Entertainment riesce a collocarsi senza dubbio ai vertici di questa categoria di videogioco.

Although Golf Peaks could have benefited from there being more content included, it's still a solid puzzler that is more than worth the cost of admission. Its delightful presentation, calming presence and pick-up appeal make it perfect to take on the go.

A worthy sequel to the DiRT Rally franchise, that updates, upgrades and uplifts most aspects of the original. Still a few little niggles that could be better, but hopefully the paid content strategy can be converted into ongoing support and updates for the title.

Ce Trübebrook aurait mérité une autre note si les mécaniques de jeu et le déroulement de l'histoire avaient bénéficié du même soin apporté aux décors réalisés à la main. Cependant, cela n'a clairement pas été la priorité du studio allemand qui nous livre là un jeu qui peine à nous convaincre. Ainsi, si vous êtes très attiré par cette ambiance "à l'ancienne" de ce Trüberbrook vous sortirez probablement satisfaits de cette aventure somme toute correcte. Si par contre vous êtes un acharné de point & click à la recherche de la prochaine perle, ce sera certainement une déception pour vous.

There are a handful of Japanese companies that laid down many of the foundations for gaming. SNK, along with Taito, Capcom, Sega, Namco, and Nintendo was one of those pioneers, and had a prolific run of quality coin-ops. This collection is a fitting commemoration of those efforts and will undoubtedly please retro enthusiasts. Although younger gamers might see these as antiquated curios, there’s still fun to be had with these spirited, sprite-based titles.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is the ideal sequel for those who enjoyed its predecessor. It builds on what worked, changes what didn’t, and delivers a great new map to explore. It is somewhat unique within the looter shooter genre in that it is launching with plenty of content and a stable foundation off which Massive can build something truly great. Could more have been done to grow from the original? Sure, but why fix what wasn’t broken?
